House Kitchen & Bar is a hidden gem with convenient parking in a garage, validating an hour. The salmon, spicy shrimp pasta, and braised short ribs are delicious, with the spicy pasta being the best ever and tasting like it was freshly made. The seafood, including shrimp and other kinds, are fresh and not fishy, making the dishes amazing. The tamale cakes are a favorite during happy hour, offering good service and a nice selection. The menu has a limited but broad choice, including full plates, sandwiches, salads, and starters, catering to different appetites. The bar is great, and the Chef/Owner is highly praised. While the atmosphere can get loud, especially with large groups, the food remains excellent, particularly when seated in a booth away from noise. Parking is available and the restaurant offers validation cards, making it a good spot for pre-game dinners before events like an A's game. The Prime-Rib French Dip and Salmon Poke are also recommended, with outstanding meals and attentive, friendly service. The interior is cozy with warm lighting and comfortable seating, perfect for a relaxing meal or casual lunch. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience. The decor is modern and stylish, creating a chic yet cozy vibe, suitable for both casual meetups and business meetings. Prices are fair considering the quality, and the overall experience is excellent. It’s an ideal place for food lovers to enjoy delicious food and good service.
