“I went here for the first time last night. The food and service were amazing! I was very impressed. I’ve lived in Woodland for over two years and didn’t realize this was here. My mom is visiting from the Bay Area and found this in a search online and I’m so glad she did. We will definitely be back.“

“My friends and I had a delightful dinner tonight at Urban Plates! After checking out various nearby options, we selected the location because of the appealing atmosphere -- not too loud or crowded, yet vibrant. India took our order and provided friendly and excellent advice about the menu options (the broccolini and the chocolate chip cookie were both terrific!) After we ate, we continued to relax on the outdoor patio. I will definitely bring my pup next time! My only reservation was that there was too much glaze on my grilled tofu plate, but otherwise all the food was very tasty.“

“Cafe Bernardo (Davis) is that easy brunch spot where you meet a friend, lose track of time, and suddenly you’ve been there forever. Order at the counter, grab a seat, and it somehow still feels relaxed and taken care of. Tons of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options and everything’s labeled, which I appreciate. Pro tip… talk to the cashier. They can tweak a lot more than what’s listed. I ended up with a grain bowl that was actually good good and an iced tea that hit.

The space is really cute with indoor outdoor seating, even if I’ll admit the Sacramento location has a little more personality. Service here though? So solid. Friendly, helpful, and patient with all the questions. I do think table service would level it up, but honestly we had a great time and didn’t miss it that much. Easy, reliable, and a yes for a casual brunch catch up.“

“Omg!!! I have lived in Davis less than a quarter mile from Mr Pickles and I have never darkened their doorstep!!! I hate myself! Thinking back to all the times I was craving a French dip or reuben and it was at a stone's throw makes my brain want to implode!!!

Well, today was the day! I ordered both of those in sammie size just to try and also save for lunch tomorrow. I am so impressed and glad I've taken the chance. So fresh. High quality ingredients. Clean operation. Perfect portion. Plus each Sammie came with a cookie. What?!?!
