From the hostess to the server, to the bussers walking around, all of the staff was incredibly nice and made everything about the experience so much better. The server even handed us our check in a book and let us sign in the book which was so unique and I loved it. Lastly, the Ambiance of the restaurant was perfect. The layout was so nice, we sat down in the breakfast area near the high tops and this area was so nice. It was well decorated and it was extremely clean. “Lovely restaurant. It is very modern and pretty inside. Menu is small, about 5 appetizers and 5 main courses to choose from. Changes seasonally. I had the citrus salad and halibut. The salad was so good! I know, a salad right? Trust me, it was delicious. Halibut was cooked perfectly. My date had the rib eye and artichoke soup. He said it was probably the best rib eye he's ever had. It had a mushroom tartlet that was good as well, but we both thought it would be perfect if maybe there was a small portion of fondant potatoes as well. Soup was alright, but he preferred the citrus salad over the soup, as the soup was more one dimensional. Service was good. Wine list was good. Old fashioned was also nice.“

“This lovely restaurant is tucked away in the old Land Park neighborhood. I was here for lunch and found some reasonably priced meals on their menu. I ordered the "Soup and a Hat" which included a creamy tomato basil soup and a grilled cheese sandwich with grilled sweet onions - it was so delicious! My waitress was very attentive and accommodating. Parking is free on the premises but the lot is small so I had to find parking on the street (not metered parking).“

“Went for the first time for our 33 anniversary. The services and food was amazing. The focaccia bread and butter were extraordinary. Even the Butter was awesome, creamy and best we've had. The beet salad was a piece of art, both to the palate and to my eyes. Tomato onion soup was outstanding. The entrees of scallops were good but the duck confit casserole was incredible. Perfect portions. Water glasses never got to half empty. Great experience and staff made it very special. Thank you to all of the Waterboy staff, made the night special.“

Drinks were okay, not well mixed and at one point I wasn't sure if my raspberry lemon drop was correct but the music and atmosphere was 10+stars hands down!! Will be back with all of my friends! I would suggest bringing your own water bottle as it is super busy. “Ordered a large box (four sandwiches and condiments) for a lunch event at the local high school. Staff was very helpful over the phone and had everything ready when I arrived. Everyone agreed the sandwiches were delicious, and I was very happy with the whole process.“

“I ordered food from the restaurant about twice a month. The food is always good and reasonably priced. The portions are quite big. I have been going to Capitol Casino for about 10 years and have always received great food and great customer service.I used to sometimes purchase cigarettes at the cash counter. I was always in and out. I had two very friendly pitbulls with me all the time. When I would go in I would tie them up outside. Although I always had bottled water with me, I thought it was sweet that the security guards would bring them water and would be playing with them and would bring them water. The security guards were always kind to my dogs. Unfortunately, they were twins and were 16 years old and passed away 4 months apart from each other. The security guards always remembered me and my dogs and were very kind when I told them they had passed. One went out of his way to console me, because when he asked where my dogs were I found it hard to speak and I started to cry. He probably doesn't know this, bit his kindness got me through a tough spot that day. It was a sad day when one of the guards was shot and killed while doing his job. I think everybody in the community was sad.“

The salmon was perfectly cooked and everything tasted great, I liked the broccolini and avocado with the salmon as well. It wasn't crowded inside so you could definitely walk in for lunch but we made a reservation. It's nice inside but you could dress casual. There is lots of metered street parking outside and a couple garages nearby so unless you can walk here you'll likely have to pay for parking. I would come back here and try the other salmon dish on the menu or the short rib.“

“My partner and I I decided to celebrate our anniversary here and we had nothing short of a truly amazing experience. Our server and bartender Rhiannon was absolutely wonderful and kind and completely attentive and made sure we had the best experience possible. It was a bit slow when we came in before the dinner rush time and she even went as far as asking us if we'd like any specific music to be played during our visit. The atmosphere was quiet and nice, perfect for the romantic evening we wanted. The restaurant was clean and beautiful. I loved the options for seating as well; if you wanted a booth, table, bar seating, or even the cozy lounge type seating area.. they have it all. The food was phenomenal. We ordered the Chicken Piccata and Wild Mushroom Bucatini and were more than satisfied with presentation and taste. My partner doesn't drink but ordered the n/a lemonade and is still craving more of it a day later. I ordered a drink I can't remember the name for, but it was vodka, strawberry and basil and it was beautifully refreshing. I definitely and HIGHLY recommend this spot for a nice date night or night cap with a solid drink. They even have events like trivia and an industry night for us industry folk! Although I love to support small businesses, I was extremely grateful for the no wait list, and ample space to accomodate 6 people. The service was impeccable. Our server was very attentive to our needs and time. I truly wished I had remembered her name correct but I think her name is Becca? I ordered the Cafeteria skillet and it was slightly salty because of the cheese but it was absolutely delicious nonetheless. The tator tots were very crispy. My student who ordered the pancakes commented on its flavor and fluffiness. All students loved their food. I would definitely be back and highly recommend this place.“
