Everything is always consistent whenever we go. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the options for sale. Not overly sweet which is nice.
Always easy to find parking and staff is friending and helpful.

Mahoroba | Japanese Bakery is a cute, cozy Japanese bakery with fantastic quality bread and pastries. Every single item is good with a perfect amount of sweetness, meaning not overly sweet. Favorite items include the square apple pie, blueberry pastry, breakfast sandwich, thick slice Shokupan, teriyaki meatball, hotdog, chocolate hat pastry, and the kobe cream, which is a must try. Most breads range from $2 to $5, and all are delectable and affordable. The staff is very kind and helpful, offering really good customer service. The atmosphere is simple—tables are put up with no seating area, giving a feeling to buy, use the microwave, and then leave. The building is easy to miss, located in the corner of a parking lot. They are closed on Monday and Sunday, and do not answer the phone. They are open most holidays except New Years, with a short summer break in late June and July, posted in-store. It is a real gem worth the drive.
