“If you go to the @midtownfarmersmarket and haven't tried the cheesecakes from @cakesbyjeffthechef what are you even doing with your life? Today I tried the peach cobbler cheesecake and it was love at first bite! I've had his lemon cheesecake, strawberry, pumpkin pie, churro, ube, blueberry, and Oreo cookie flavored cakes and not a single one has disappointed me. If you can't make it to the Farmers Market he has a shop in DOCO at 405 K St, Sacramento. Perfect spot for a date night or if you're craving something sweet.

P.S. The whipped cream topping goes well in coffee if you wanna elevate your cup of morning joe.“

“I've been to a few ice cream places that were better, and a lot that were worse. This may sound like an odd recommendation but try mixing the cotton candy ice cream with Twix. It makes the Twix chewier to and compliments the flavor and texture of the cotton candy ice cream.“

“I am so glad we went with Looking Glass Cakes for my mom's 60th birthday. The owner was super thoughtful and collaborative about what my vision was for the design of the cake and she expertly applied her creativity to the concept. Not only did the cake turn out absolutely stunning, but the quality and flavor was unmatched. If you're familiar with bakeries in Sacramento, it was on par with the quality I'd find at Freeport Bakery. And she does classes and workshops?! What an absolute GEM this place is in our community. ❤“

“Came because I’ve been craving Baskin-Robbins but don’t like to eat ice cream when it’s not that hot. Makes me cold fast. Today was in the 90’s. Got my single adult scoop in a waffle cone. I forgot how giant the cones were! They’re a great size, and the scoop wasn’t small. Filled the cone. I was worried it wouldn’t, so I’m glad they proved me wrong. Definitely worth the price.

**P.S. The review below me gave them a bad rating because of a COUNTY-WIDE power outage. They don’t control that. No one knew what was going on or why random places and random homes in different North and South communities had a power outage. That’s not a Baskin-Robbin’s issue. SMUD gave no explanation either. Extremely weird. I think that guy was just having a bad day and took it out on Baskin-Robbin’s.“

“I've always had an enjoyable experience here. I'm sure it's changed ownership over the years, but it's always been here while growing up. The ice creams and varieties are always changing to be up with the times. I would have to say we enjoy the German chocolate ice cream when it's in. We don't really have a favorite. The smoothies are also very good. They also have ice cream cakes available for just about all occasions. The ambiance is quaint and home like. Thanks for always being a part of my childhood and my kids' childhood. At least I know that coming back home, this location is always here.“
