“We ordered a mocha, and it was pretty good. We were not aware that The Mill roasted their own coffee as there were no pictures of the roastery in any review. We would have been coming by much more often if we had known. We posted a picture of their roastery. It would be a really cool place to sit as customers can watch the roaster in action. Plus, the smell would be awesome.Since there is limited seating inside and outside the actual cafe that if they opened a small area in the roastery, that it would add a few more seats for customers who wanted to hang out while enjoying their drinks.“

Crazy cool vibe inside and outside - tons of elbow room.

I was happily surprised at details such as the breakfast burrito having just enough potatoes to add to the flavor, but not the overbearing filler of too many potatoes, like most other places. “I have been coming to this location for a while. I like the vibe, the aesthetics, the place is very clean and the employees are very friendly and attentive. The menu is small, which makes it easy to order. I've tried a couple of menu items, including their pastries. The only thing is the parking, although free, depending on the day and time, you may not find any. The parking spaces are very compact. However, this has not been an issue for me, and I will definitely continue to come once in a while. If you have never been, give it a try!.“

“As far as drinks go, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better range of high quality drinks in the neighborhood. In all of Sacramento this is definitely in my top 3 of favorite coffee shops! The cold brew with crème and orange zest(can’t remember the name for the life of me, is quickly becoming one of my favorite drinks in Sacramento! Definitely recommend this coffee shop.“

“This is a very comfortable coffee shop. The coffee is excellent and there is a nice selection of fresh pastries and sandwiches. The local East Sac neighborhood newspaper is always available. Staff is friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Outdoor seating is available.“

Open space, strong wifi, and excellent latte. The two people at the counter were excellent: helpful and friendly.
