“It felt intrusive and took away from the fun. All that said, the beer selection was definitely good and varied. The bartenders and staff were super nice. I had fun but it wouldn't be on the top of my list to go back. I'd prefer an outdoor mini golf spot next time.“

“They switched owners about 4 years back that's the reason why this bar is going downhill. The owner wolfgang hooper is a con artist/alcoholic and he doesn't want to spend money on the right thing being done! he will pay you to do something wrong save 15 dollars. i watched him try to sell someone a house with a water seeping issue and he wondered why his realtors couldn't pawn it off on some unsuspecting first time buyer. anyways i digress.... this bar is filthy. They have the nastiest kitchen i have ever seen in my life.“

“The staff is always really nice. On of the very Best burgers in Sacramento. Excellent beer selection and the staff is always happy to let you taste a couple before deciding. Conveniently located right across from Gunther's in case you want to people watch or be entirely decadent and get ice after.“

“The burgers and side portions are large and very tasty, good selection of beer. I’ve lived in the area for 43 years and visit a couple times a year, however not sure if I’ll be going back, $75 for my wife and I to have burgers and a beer is a little ridiculous. Burgers and Brew on R St, has Niman Ranch Beef and the bacon jalapeño burgers are $3.50 less than a regular burger at Dukes. I want to support local but $21 burgers and $10 beers….not the go to.“

“I went there Sunday for a late lunch with my two daughters I ordered kale salad and waffles with chicken and a pretzels, the kale salad was good except I have a hard time chewing on those hard kale stems , the bacon was generous but next time I will ask for an extra dressing cuz that’s how I like my salad, the chicken waffles looks good too my daughter loves it, the pretzels was okay if you’re vegetarian, speaking of vegetarian, they have couple options, overall it was a pleasant meal. I would recommend the place.“
