“I chose Tipsy Putt for our company party. We are a small residential construction company of 4- but even still, it was nice to be able to book a table and food in advance. It was better than I expected with the feel of a sports bar, but with mini golf and some stand up golf table games, a full arcade, a long bar and lots of seating. Service was great! We all enjoyed ourselves!“

“My brother loves beer and we get together a couple times a month. We had not been there in years, and this is where I remember them having a great beer selection. “Smoker friendly sports bar with the best owner/ operator in the world. Roy treats you like he's hosting you in his own living room, often beginning in delicious homemade tamales to give out to hungry and grateful pateons. This bar is one of the gems of Oakland.“
“A well located hotel with everything you would need for a short stay in San Francisco. Good size, clean and comfortable room. Efficient check in and check out process. Games room and cafe on site but we did not use. Only negative was the noise coming from the street outside especially the street cleaning at 4am.“

“Joe is great. After our Uber drive dropped us in the wrong place, Joe would tell us how to get there, he took us there. It was only at the end of the block, but meant the world to us. He wouldn’t accept a tip, so went back to have a beer after dinner. He remembered our name. He is the true meaning of customer service and I’ve told all of my friends to go see him at the Showdown. “We just went for our 3rd visit over the weekend, and they have hit the mark for me every time.
Our first visit back in December had a bit of a wait as there were many big parties, but it honestly wasn't bad/long. Other visits have had no waiting times.
Order at the counter or on your phone from QR codes on your table - there's a big menu on one wall and typical menu sized copies at the counter. The staff is overall great - there's a particular young man who treats us so well and gets us whatever we need every time.
The music can definitely be on the louder end and varies, but it completely adds to the experience! I love that I feel like I can let a wall down, do my little happy dances in my seat, and enjoy their delicious food and drinks.
We absolutely love: the garlic noodles, the chicken wings (with General Tsos sauce) are out of this world, the Monkey King fried rice, and we just tried their calamari which was delish!
