“Our favorite neighborhood taco spot. The hours are sometimes more of a suggestion that a strict schedule, but service is fast and friendly. My favorites are the tacos de al pastor y buche. My husband also likes their tripas. Their quesadillas are also packed with meat. For those, my daughter loves the carne asada. Their salsas are delicious, especially the avocado one. There's often someone selling aguas frescas or champurrados to round out your meal. Idk how much each taco costs (it doesn't really matter to me though, I love their tacos so much I'll pay whatever they charge me) but this is always an affordable family meal for us. Check it out!“
“I love finding a hidden gem in a parking lot ?Following my absolute love of birria, my friend introduced me to this place that has DELICIOUS birria fries AND incredibly TASTY AUTHENTIC agua fresca AAAAND horchata ? absolutely amazing, fair priced and the owner is so cool! Don't be scared to walk up and order just because it's in a shopping center, the food is legit and worth every penny.***Only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so treat yourself if you're in the area on the weekend!“
“The restaurant is located behind the Chevron gas station in a very rundown shack. Don't be discouraged if there seemed to be no one in the restaurant. I went into an empty restaurant, but 10+ people started to arrive after I ordered my food. It seemed I was the only person who didn't speak Spanish ordering food. Recommended dish were pork tamales (4.5/5) and and caldo de res (4.0/5 ... I had better). About 50% of people came after me only ordered caldo de res. The soup seemed blank and a bit too sweet initially. However, after dumping chopped onion and cilantro and squeezed some lemon into the soup, and the flavors began to come out, and it was very good. The pork tamale was one of the best tamales I've ever had. Tacos and elote were standard.“
“The bf was craving hot dogs and found this place. The parking lot is very small but looks like you can park on the street. There is a good amount of seats and a couple of tvs if you want to watch the game. Have the seats are outside and even if you sit inside and roll up doors were open, so if basically feels like you're outside. I didn't notice heaters but thankfully it wasn't a cold day. You order at the counter and pick up food from the truck out back. I highly recommend the mozzarella sticks. You only get 4 but they were very good but the marinara tasted like straight tomato paste. The dog and the bun were also very good, just wished there was more chili. We plan on coming back and trying the other offerings.“

“I’m very picky when it comes to coffee (more than 85% of coffee places in Sac are a no-no for me). But, these guys know how to make it right. I haven’t had a bad cup from them and I’ve been to more than a handful of events where Sparrows served coffee.“
