Butcher and Barrel Reviews
I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Every course was exceptional, and the service was truly outstanding. Our server went above and beyond—gracefully and patiently managing a party of seventeen, from keeping the kids happy to ensuring cocktails flowed seamlessly between multiple courses. She made us feel completely taken care of, with no request too big or small.

Amazing food! Best service; super attentive owners.
Such a phenomenal meal at @butcherandbarrelsac after a great @sacspirit case earlier today! The food was perfect, tasty, and filling! From the appetizer to dessert we were nothing but happy! Omg that crème brûlée! 🍮 we were greeted immediately and cheerfully, our server, Mykayla was so bubbly, attentive and kind… and even got to chat with the owner, Kevin! This place is top notch while also being very approachable. All types of diners from parties, birthdays, couples...read full review

Based on the reviews, Butcher and Barrel offers a mix of experiences. The food is made entirely in-house, with some dishes described as cooked and seasoned to perfection, including the Wagyu Ribeye. Sides like the Creamed Spinach, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Button Mushrooms are delicious. The burrata appetizer is a giant high-end mozzarella stick, and the Fruit Tart is yummy. The bourbon selection is fantastic, with options like Midwinter’s Night Dram and Blanton’s. However, some reviews mention issues. One guest reported food not seasoned, a steak that was extremely bloody and chewy, and an alcohol beverage with none in it. Another noted that items from the prix fixe menu were sold out despite calling ahead, and service was under par for a $200+ check. Service is described as phenomenal by some, with attentive staff, but others felt ignored, with one guest tucked in a corner while the owner checked on others. The restaurant also offers bilingual service, with a presentation done in Spanish. While some guests highly recommend the place and call it perfect for every occasion, others do not recommend it based on their treatment.
