Food was a great experience! Came here for a friend's birthday and the server was attentive to our party.

Food here is super bomb definitely recommend getting a reservation but still worth it

The staff was lovely, as well as the General Manager Michael. He addressed my meal issue appropriately. Nice atmosphere, they may consider putting up some type of partition to conceal the bus station just for aesthetics.

Great food. Busy service this evening and loud when we went in. But all around good experience. My old fashioned was amazing and best I've had in a while. Steak cooked just right. Can't wait to come back.

Ridiculously good! I have been twice in the last month and had a GREAT meal both times. The lamb lollipops are perfect, and the prime rib sandwich might be the best one I've ever had. Great food and nice people!

With so many Farn to Fork options in Sacramento this restaurant is awful. They specialize in steaks but their chef is more like a cook they brought from TGIF. The peppercorn sauce was poured on the steak like a bowl of soup. The steak was well overcooked telling me the cook doesn't know what they're doing. The steak was taken back to correct it but it came back the same. I asked for medium but it came out well done. The side of vegetables is like a frozen bag of steamed veggies. I was overall appalled because Sacramento has forced all the awful restaurants out over the years. These owner/investors need to go back to square one otherwise this location is going to have a strike three real quick.

Had the Filet and Lamb lollipops and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. Seriously don’t know how this place doesn’t have better reviews. Amazing food!

My wife and I loved our time at Butcher and Barrel. Delicious food, impeccable service and a Sacramento Kings W - all in one night! Only issue was not enough stomach space to eat all the things on the menu that looked amazing. So it looks like we'll be planning our next visit very soon! Thank you all for a memorable night!

My original review was much higher but the service has absolutely diminished. Last night there seemed to only be 3 employees running the entire front of house and that was on a Wednesday night with a Lakers / Kings game. Our order was missing a few items and when we ordered we were 1 of only 2 parties sitting at the bar. When the game ended and the crowd grew the bartender could not keep up with orders at all. It took nearly 11 minutes to provide 6 shots to a party and then almost 20 minutes for 2 cocktails. She seemed extremely inexperienced as a bartender or new to the job. While other people waited, there were 2 separate groups that just walked out because she never even took an order from them or acknowledged them. She also made a couple items that were never ordered and wasted a lot of time figuring out that was the case. I think they need a second experienced bartender to run the place while the new person learns the job.

Cool new place on k Street. The food was pretty good. Got the ribeye tacos and they were tasty. Try the pork lollipops and the pork belly apps as well.

The good was overcooked and being a steakhouse we were expecting juicy dishes. The cost did not jive with food served. Cocktails were very good. Service was great. For the amount of money we spent for 4, we will not likely return.

Food was fantastic! Comfortable seating and good service. If you're really hungry or want to feed 2-4 people, I recommend the Tomahawk ribeye. Plus, it comes with two add-ons. It was cooked to perfection and well seasoned.
