“I am always greeted and welcomed kindly here. The service is great, everyone is very nice and professional. There is so much space inside and outside to sit and drink. It's also dog friendly, I bring my dog from time to time and we get to sit and relax here while enjoying the view, shade, and drinks. I love that waters are free and they allow you to use the restrooms, which have locks and are always kept clean btw. I usually come here after yoga or a walk at William land park.“

We recently switched to tea here and tried the Honey Citrus Mint Tea — it’s absolutely delicious, light, and very comforting. Definitely a great option if you want something warm and refreshing instead of coffee.
The location itself is very nice: calm atmosphere, soft music, and plenty of seating. There are both indoor and outdoor tables available. We chose to sit outside since the weather is beautiful today, and it made the experience even better.
Service was quick and smooth, no waiting, everything was easy.

“There are a handful of Starbucks in town. This one has the best customer service, atmosphere, cleanliness, and friendliness. They have some tables, where I have coffee and study. Hands down, this is the best one in town.

Yes, it was thick and not as sweet as it used to be. The barista told me chai latte no longer comes pre-sweetened, syrup is added separately. “I don't eat dairy often but when I did a while ago I tried the Pesto Mozzarella breakfast sandwich. It's very delicious. I have since bought it a few times. It's pillowy and the flavor of the mozzarella is wonderful. Also found out they have 2 more new loaf slice breads. I had to try the chocolate pistachio. They also have a frosted Strawberry Lemonade loaf too.“

“My Poor Behavior
Issak (with a K, I believe) was the manager on duty during my visit to this Starbucks. One of the employees enforced the policy of not allowing restroom use until a purchase was made. This policy is completely understandable, but I behaved poorly and emotionally in response. I regret engaging in a conversation about the culture surrounding the policy in the way that I did.
On a location-by-location basis, I recognize the importance of protecting the customer experience by ensuring that complimentary services are reserved for paying customers. This protects both the employees and the quality of service for those who are there to enjoy it.
I should have been more mature and refrained from challenging the employee and the manager. I am proud of Issak for standing up for his team, setting a clear boundary, and handling the conversation with intelligence and professionalism.
I sincerely apologize to him and his team for my behavior.
I am proud of them for protecting their policy, their customer experience, and the community culture they are responsible for maintaining.“

I over here the baristas interact with the folks in the shop as if they were family and as if this were a charming small town. I received the close attention of a barista who wanted to make sure I properly connected to the wifi, watched coffee drinkers addressed by name, entertaining a little one enjoying a yummy mini scone. “I know Starbucks recently sent out a directive to their stores to raise their service levels. I would guess there was a lot of retraining, and company rules, and I visited quite a few different Starbucks in the past few months because I move around a lot.
I'm visiting a friend in this neck of the woods, and I walked to the Starbucks this morning to get my regular which is a venti Pike place with heavy cream. I love cream and coffee, and Starbucks is one of the few places where I can get this.
What really marks this particular Starbucks is that they are One of the most cohesive and friendly teams. They work brilliantly well together, genuine smiles all round, laughter and efficiency.
I'm extremely observant. At times, I like to have and everything bagel, double toasted, with two mini containers of cream cheese.
Most other Starbucks toast them once, assuming I won't know the difference. In some locations where I have been a regular for a while, I've had to individually coach almost every person in the establishment to what double toasting means. Not the Starbucks. They got it perfect first time, which is really unusual.
Two different staff have already visited me where I am sitting and ask me if I would like a refill.
If I was Starbucks management, I would visit this place in heavy disguise as a customer, and look at what this location is doing right.
And if you do this, for heaven sakes, rethink all the wooden seats. Go to Tesla, and ask them to make you seats out of their vegan leather with whatever they use to fill the seat in their cars. They will last forever. Just make sure people can't steal them. 🥰😁“
“I had a great experience at this Starbucks on 28th & N Sacramento. My order was ready right on time, and everything was exactly how I asked for it.
What really stood out to me was the team and management. The managers here are amazing you can tell they run a strong, positive environment. The staff is friendly, professional, and works really well together, which makes the whole experience smooth and welcoming, even during busy mornings.

“All the employees were awesome! My order was quick and fast. One thing is while I was studying at the table, a guy(customer) came back and started blaming one of the young employee about something. He made such a big deal out of nothing. I honestly felt bad for the young employee who got blamed and I feel bad that he had to go through that. The man (customer) also started video taping all the employees up close, it even felt like he kind of started recording the whole place/lobby, I felt very uncomfortable. But later one of the workers came to people in the lobby and apologized for the inconvenience and offered everyone in the lobby a free drink. I honestly don’t know what the young employee did wrong but truly all of them are sweet and kind. They even apologized to the angry man and yet he still continued to behave that way.
The young employee who got yelled at also took my order, he was very chill and interactive. He even said to me “you can just press ‘skip tip.’” Not even asking for tips just being good to customers.
An awesome guy, I’m sorry he had to deal with that. If he made a mistake, everyone make mistakes and mistakes can be fixed especially if it’s a drink/food order. Just some customers can be so rude.“

“Great place to get coffee. The employees are really nice. However, if you make an online order there's no place to park to run in and just grab it. I was told by the employees that anybody can park anywhere there's no designated parking for Starbucks. Also there is only one handicap space in front of Starbucks. When I went to pick up my coffee and came back an hour later the same car was parked in the handicap spot. I'm not a lazy person I don't mind parking far away but if you're just running in to pick up an online order it would be nice to just be close enough to do that especially if you're on a break and your time is limited.“

“I go to this Starbucks usually on the weekends. It’s such a hit or miss, but it’s a drive thru so I deal with it.
Oliver and Mustafa are amazing with customer service. I always enjoy seeing them, they’re very welcoming, and give great customer service when I need something/something is forgotten by staff.
Not all the employees here are rude, but my husband went a couple Saturday mornings ago and picked up my order.
We always order sriracha on the app; 2 each. He got my drink and food, and noticed there wasn’t any sriracha (this has happened like 10 times after going here since last September). He waited in the drive thru window for someone to come back, so he could ask for sriracha and a straw. He told me he heard the girls say, “what is he waiting for?…Why is he still sitting there?” So he kept waiting. They finally came over and asked him what he was waiting on.
Here’s my thing: why talk about it amongst each other, loudly when he can hear you…when you…could…just ask him what he needs?…he wouldn’t have kept sitting there if he had everything we ordered.
Also, I’ve had attitude from the drive thru staff on multiple Saturday mornings as well, and haven’t always felt welcomed.
I get an iced espresso. Sometimes it’s perfect; or, sometimes the espresso tastes expired, there’s not enough creamer in there, or they don’t stir it.
What is hard about swirling the espresso around with the milk and syrup in the cup? I constantly have to pull my car over in the parking lot, take off my lid, and mix it up myself. Drive thrus should have your items ready to go so you can drive and enjoy your drink. Instead, I’m wasting time, pulling over, taking the lid off, stirring my drink around, and spilling it in my car. Awesome.
I know Starbucks claims, “expired,” espresso “isn’t a thing,” anymore, but as someone who used to work here, and has been a customer for 18+ years at Starbucks, it tastes nasty and is lazy. I’m sure they only made that policy so they don’t have waste espresso, and so the staff doesn’t have to have any sense of urgency to finish the drink in time. I’ve had to go back through the drive thru a couple times just to have them re-make it or give me something different. There have been times I just deal with it and go home because I don’t have time. It’s frustrating.
I really like this location for the most part, but the attitude from a couple employees and the inconsistency in drink building is disappointing. I spend $200 or more a month sometimes here…I want my drink and food how I want it. I don’t think that’s rude or unreasonable to ask.“
“This is hands down the best Starbucks in Sacramento. I used to work in the area, so I stopped there often. Now that I switched jobs, I miss the people here: their coffee was always on point, sometimes you'd get cute little notes in your cup (made my day), and the baristas were always kind even though they're busy as heck. I just picked up a coffee in a different location and doesn't taste too good, so I was reminded to leave a review for the people who made my coffee right every time for years.

I went to the counter and asked for access, and the employee was incredibly rude, telling me I had to make a purchase first. I explained that I was planning to buy something, but I needed to use the restroom before ordering. After making me wait for several uncomfortable seconds, she finally gave me the code.
I've been a loyal Starbucks customer for years, and honestly, this felt humiliating. Treating customers like potential criminals before they've even had a chance to place an order is a terrible way to do business.
