“One of life's happiest accidents was finding Everest Curry. We had no idea how spoiled we'd been by the Himalayan restaurant we'd had in our little town of Jackson until it closed (for renevations) and we had to go in search of comparable food. It just wasn't to be found...anywhere...or so we thought. Then we found Everst Curry. WOW! Amazing food! I'd almost forgotten how much I loved dahl soup. And the chana masala...and the mo mo...and the vegi pakora (oh my, the vegi pakora)...and the samosas. And then the house specialty, the "Everest" curry. We had the lamb. So tender you don't even need to chew with what seemed to be a tomato based korma (maybe) with spinach. I was almost in tears! We're still looking forward to our Taste of Himalaya restaurant re-opening, but we sure know where to go to get our fix in the meantime. Thank you, thank you.“

“I popped up around 9pm with my son for a late dinner. They did not disappoint. The chicken tikka masala was rich, creamy and flavorful. The rice was fluffy and soft to match the wonderful dish. And I rounded it out with some buttered naan. Great place that I would recommend to you for a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy with friends and family. They even mentioned that on Fridays and Saturdays they stay open until 11pm.“

The Butter Paneer was absolutely delicious the best I've had in the last 17 years! My son tried Chole Bhature and Butter Paneer for the very first time, and he loved both dishes.

“My friends saw some IG promos of this place and we decided to check it out.
Decent location off of Folsom Blvd/65th, tiny parking lot but plenty of street parking.
We dined as, as we often do when grabbing pizza for dinner. We arrived at 6pm and were the only ones there. Don't mind, whole place to ourselves. When we walked in, the two staff members were sitting in the dining area to see us arrive and promptly assisted us with our order. First order was a half chicken tikka and half Italian garlic combo. Second order was half tandoori chicken and also half Italian combo.
While we waited for our food, we checked out the decor and it's a nice spot with lots of seating and 3 large TVS.
Wall of tap beer for you to choose from and I really like the Bollywood movie quotes on the front wall. Saw one of my fav quotes up there too! One of the TVs was playing a movie and the other had on music videos. We heard neither. It was dead silent in there, which was a downer. Was hoping for some lively music.
Food was BUSSIN! The tandoori chicken pizza was a 10/10! Masala ranch is hella good. Chicken tikka, which is normally my fav at other Indian pizza spots was maybe a 6/10. I give the Italian garlic combo a solid 5.
We will definitely be back. But maybe next time we will come later at night. This place had a sign out front that they are open from 10AM - 6AM!! Wild. I can definitely see this place being popular with the late night college crowa.“

“Great dinner today! Heard from my friend and tried the Indian food here. Loved the dosas and South Indian tiffins fresh, tasty, and super authentic. The staff was really friendly and helpful, especially at the front. Great food, great service, and a nice vibe. Definitely coming back!“

“This place is run by a family and is closest to authentic Indian cuisine I have had in the area. Each dish pops with flavor and the chef manages to make the food taste great even with minimal spices. We have dined in multiple times and got food catered by them for a party of 15 people, they toned down the spices exactly based on our request as not many of our guests were used to the cuisine.
On a different note, we eat spicy food and they served us the best Andhra style chicken. 10/10 would recommend.“

“Great Indian restaurant with a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Service was fast and very friendly. I ordered a chicken curry and a vegeterian curry and they were both great. I would also recommend getting the full dinner meal, all of the sides are delicious. Plenty of parking in the lot behind the restaurant. Overall, a solid experience and worth a visit.“

What i did not appreciate was the fact that we went to the buffet and my teenage son wanted to treat us well not knowing they had a table with dessert we asked if for everyone with buffet they said yes. When my son went to pay what was supposed to be $60 for 3 buffets was $85 because each item was individually priced on the dessert. Also they ran out of the meat that his friend enjoyed eating so he didn't get the full enjoyment of the buffet. They stated they would make sure not to run out we could come back tomorrow but at $85 that is way too much.“

“Love this place. Not much to look at inside but great food. Combo of Mexican and Indian food. I have had the burritos, tacos, quesadillas, french fries, samosas with yummy sauces, and chicken tiki masala (available on weekends) and have never been disappointed. The prices are reasonable too.“

“I don't even know what to say about Namaste foods other than I've never had anything that I didn't like from there. the food tastes wonderful. I was just at Sac Yard brewing where your truck was and had the samosas and the butter chicken fries and everything was hot fresh and tasty. the food is very gourmet tasting. fresh, hot and very well prepared!! “Loved it! The place was nice, spacious and clean (which is always amazing). The service was good. I had no clue what to order so I just asked the cashier for whatever was her favorite.

Do keep in mind that it's Mexican/Indian fusion. I got a chicken tikka masala burrito (something I never even knew existed but am very glad I tried) along with a couple of bbq chicken tacos. The burrito was a little spicy and the tacos were pretty good as well.

Will definitely be back to try some of the other fusion items on the menu. If you're willing to be adventurous and try new things this might be the place to go!

Also, not sure if I came during a lunch rush special or something but everything together only cost me $12.

“Been coming here for years & my apologies for not having more pictures. We always try and stop in here whenever we are in the Sacramento area. This place is easy to get to with plenty of parking. There are a lot of menu and dessert options available! My all time favorite is the samosa chaat - I've had similar dishes at a variety of other restaurants but nothing comes close to Samosa Garden. Can't wait to go back!“
