“One of life's happiest accidents was finding Everest Curry. We had no idea how spoiled we'd been by the Himalayan restaurant we'd had in our little town of Jackson until it closed (for renevations) and we had to go in search of comparable food. So tender you don't even need to chew with what seemed to be a tomato based korma (maybe) with spinach. I was almost in tears! “My friends saw some IG promos of this place and we decided to check it out.
Decent location off of Folsom Blvd/65th, tiny parking lot but plenty of street parking.
We dined as, as we often do when grabbing pizza for dinner. We arrived at 6pm and were the only ones there. Don't mind, whole place to ourselves. When we walked in, the two staff members were sitting in the dining area to see us arrive and promptly assisted us with our order. First order was a half chicken tikka and half Italian garlic combo. Second order was half tandoori chicken and also half Italian combo.
While we waited for our food, we checked out the decor and it's a nice spot with lots of seating and 3 large TVS.
Wall of tap beer for you to choose from and I really like the Bollywood movie quotes on the front wall. Saw one of my fav quotes up there too! One of the TVs was playing a movie and the other had on music videos. We heard neither. It was dead silent in there, which was a downer. Was hoping for some lively music.
Food was BUSSIN! The tandoori chicken pizza was a 10/10! Masala ranch is hella good. Chicken tikka, which is normally my fav at other Indian pizza spots was maybe a 6/10. I give the Italian garlic combo a solid 5.
We will definitely be back. But maybe next time we will come later at night. This place had a sign out front that they are open from 10AM - 6AM!! Wild. I can definitely see this place being popular with the late night college crowa.“

“Love this place. Not much to look at inside but great food. Combo of Mexican and Indian food. I have had the burritos, tacos, quesadillas, french fries, samosas with yummy sauces, and chicken tiki masala (available on weekends) and have never been disappointed. The prices are reasonable too.“

“We drove from San Diego and randomly came across this place while trying to figure out where we should eat our meals as there are plenty out in Sacramento.
We ordered Lamb biryani it was flavorful and wholesome pieces of lamb were tender, bhel and paneer pakoras were too good and plenty.
Service was fast and I could see everyone professional , smiling and working efficiently.

Khushpreet served us looked after us recommended thing with such a cheerful attitude. Chai on top of it was too good as we needed.

Keep it up. Real good place will visit again and highly recommend.“

What i did not appreciate was the fact that we went to the buffet and my teenage son wanted to treat us well not knowing they had a table with dessert we asked if for everyone with buffet they said yes. When my son went to pay what was supposed to be $60 for 3 buffets was $85 because each item was individually priced on the dessert. Also they ran out of the meat that his friend enjoyed eating so he didn't get the full enjoyment of the buffet. They stated they would make sure not to run out we could come back tomorrow but at $85 that is way too much.“

I was just at Sac Yard brewing where your truck was and had the samosas and the butter chicken fries and everything was hot fresh and tasty. the food is very gourmet tasting. fresh, hot and very well prepared!! “We have always purchased from AB sweets for the last 5 years for family events. However, the last time we ordered sweets (9lbs jalebi and 9lbs gulab jamun) the top portion of jalebi was at least 1 day old and the rest was older. None of it was fresh which is the expectation for large orders. Quite disappointed but hope they learn from this event. AB sweets is a household name here in Sacramento and should maintain their standard.“

“Loved it! The place was nice, spacious and clean (which is always amazing). The service was good. I had no clue what to order so I just asked the cashier for whatever was her favorite.

Do keep in mind that it's Mexican/Indian fusion. I got a chicken tikka masala burrito (something I never even knew existed but am very glad I tried) along with a couple of bbq chicken tacos. The burrito was a little spicy and the tacos were pretty good as well.

Will definitely be back to try some of the other fusion items on the menu. If you're willing to be adventurous and try new things this might be the place to go!

Also, not sure if I came during a lunch rush special or something but everything together only cost me $12.

Considering the local prices I was honestly expecting it to cost $15-$17 (especially since places like Chipotle and some of the Taqueria's I've been to can be costly)“
