“Ate here recently and the food was really good. It’s all vegetarian/vegan, which I didn’t know before I got there (in a good way). The food was great and the people were very nice. They also make vegan desserts, which I tried. I tried the samosas which were really good and I got the Bhindi masala which is made with okra and it was really good, one of the best versions of it I’ve had. I will definitely be returning here to try more things.“
“We stopped here for dinner on the way to Sacramento. The food is great and the portion size is enough for sharing. The owner served us and was very kind and polite.Vegetarian options: typical Indian vegetarian optionsParking: large shopping center parking lot“
“Finally an Indian restaurant in Galt and it's really good! Good variety, clean, friendly. We tried Butter chicken, Chicken Tikka, and Chicken Korma. We also tried the butter chicken fries which were pleasantly delicious and the veggie pakora. Everything was amazing and will definitely be coming back!“
“Omg----loved my to-go order!I tried saag aloo (has potatos), and it was super delishhh! Creamy, spicy comfort food. My dish included basmati rice.I ordered a side of nan----to die for perfection ! Crisp and fluffy with spices. Their food is really good. The restaurant itself is a bit rustic, but who cares. Excellent food, fast and friendly service. My whole meal was generous portion and under $20 bucks. Well worth it.Hope to be back soon to try other dishes.Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Quality ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️Service ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️Value⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Overall ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️(No photos this time).#indianfood #takeoutParking: Typical shopping center parking. “Okay, folks, this is a food truck making indian food. This is not glamorous. This is takeout from a food truck. That being said, the food is fantastic. It's al la cart. Give me complimentary jasmine rice.I ordered the current goat. And the fish pakora. Which meant for about twenty-seven dollars. We have a picture menu on side of the truck. So you can just see what you want to order. The proportions are good. Half levels of spice, mild, medium and spicy.I got the food in about five minutes. Everything was piping hot.The people were polite and friendly and have problem ordering. They knew exactly what to do and were quick about it, and they were very effectively. Hey didn't treat me. Food takes Visa Mastercard in American Express. So that's a good thing. Again, I mentioned to you. That this is a food truck. So the bottom line is if you're looking for a good, take home food, maybe perhaps you don't want to do anything. Maybe perhaps you don't want to wait. Maybe perhaps you're just hungry. This is the place #foodtruck #indianfood #delicious #takeaway #convenient #affordable.Sorry for not posting any pictures. I'm gonna be to this coming. Try this truck. So you're probably wondering where the location is. They're on the opposite end of home depot just at the edge of their parking lot. You'll see food two food trucks there. So go try their food. I'm serious go try their food. #foodtruck #foodie #nomnom“
“I see alot of people complaining about the Pil in the butter chicken. I myself grew up eating foods from different cultures, Each Indian restaurant I have tried all do their own twist to food. I really enjoy the butter chicken here. I always order it. The portions are generous. They do have to work "freshing" up the place and hopefully adding more of a warmer feel to the place, it has potential. The staff are always very good to us. Don't look like much from the outside, but it's very decent good. I've been to fancy Indian restaurants woth terrible food. So u can't judge the outside looks of place.Vegetarian options: I seen vegie options. My mom is not a meat eater. So they had options for herParking: There is a store inside the restaurant. Serrated by wall“
“It is very difficult to find quality hot prepared vegetarian/vegan food in Stockton, so Shan-E is often a go-to for our whole family and a great source for groceries. We've enjoyed every dish we've tried and really appreciate that we can request vegan versions of any item. We stock our vegan/vegetarian staples from their market as often as possible as the quality, price, and selection is incomparable to regular grocery stores. The staff is always happy to see us and we love supporting locally-owned family businesses. It's SamosaTime!“
“Just had dinner at India Cafe. Loved the food. My Brother in law and I had the Shrimp Balti spicy and Goat Rogan Josh. They were both really good. My wife and other cousins had kadai paneer, shahi paneer, baingan bharta, malai kofta and dal makhani and all were very good. The Tandoori roti, garlic naan, chicken tikka naan, butter naan were all very good too. From the dessert, the gajar halwa and gulab jamun were really good. Malai kulfi, kheer, Ras malai were OK.“
