“A friend took me here. Everything we ordered was top notch: Rogan Josh, Chicken Mahkani, Naan, Mango Lassi, Chai Tea. I would gladly drive here from south sac just to eat here! The wuality of ingredients, the traditional methods of cookery, It was a wonderful experience which was only made better by the service which was attentive, and extremely friendly. Highly Recommended!!“
“I ordered vegetable briyani. If i knew it was mostly rice, I would have ordered something else. The staff was attentive, but had a hard time understanding us. We'd eaten there before, and I made a better choice of food. It would be helpful if there were pictures of the food so you'd know what you're ordering.“
“We stopped here on a short road trip for lunch. We got a sampling of food. The paneer Tikka masala was amazing along with the yellow lentils. The small plates are not that small and I love the dipping sauces that came with the dosas. I would come back again.“
“Drove from Sacramento to experience some South Indian deliciousness and Boy! I was NOT disappointed!! Ordered the Appam, Chicken curry, Egg curry and Chicken kothu paratha. The appam and curries were perfectly spiced and reminiscent of my mom's home cooking. I had never had kothu paratha before and I could not recommend it more if you are a fan of parathas!! I will definitely be returning and totally worth the 30 minute drive for a taste of my Kerala roots!!“
“Had buffet and for $17 it was such a good spread! (in a world where one A La carte is $12-$14, and this is unlimited buffet- there was veg biryani, samosas, naan, 3 veggie curries, daal, idly, sambhar, rice, 2 desserts, and 4 non-veg curries and maybe even more! The free masala chai is always welcome with buffet. The service was so good, the gentleman who seated us, he got fresh idlies to our table and chutney. Jalebi and mysore pak were desserts. will definitely go again!Vegetarian options: 8 out of 14 curries in buffet were veg friendly“
“Authentic and Awesome South Indian food served here. We really liked all the tiffin items served. However, lunch thali is not up to the standards of other food items. For example, there was no curd rice in the thali and flavoured rice (I think it is puliyogare) and didn’t taste like it.“
“"Dining at Red Hot Chili Peppers in Folsom, CA, was an unforgettable culinary journey! This Indian Chinese fusion restaurant offers a unique and delicious blend of flavors that tantalize the taste buds from the first bite. The menu is a delightful exploration of bold spices and traditional techniques, expertly crafted to create dishes that are both innovative and comforting. Each dish we tried was a masterpiece, perfectly balancing the heat of Indian spices with the umami-rich elements of Chinese cuisine. The ambiance of the restaurant adds to the overall experience, with its warm and inviting decor that makes you feel right at home. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to offer recommendations that delight and surprise. Whether it's the fiery Manchurian balls, the flavorful Hakka noodles, or the sumptuous Szechwan paneer, every dish is a testament to the chef's skill and creativity. Red Hot Chili Peppers is more than just a meal; it's a culinary adventure that leaves you eager to return. A five-star experience that's not to be missed by anyone who loves bold, innovative cuisine!"“
“I was driving by this place and thought I would stop by. Anyone who knows me knows I love chicken. I got their spicy chicken sandwich with hot sauce and coleslaw. It was delicious . The chicken was fresh, and the coleslaw was crisp. 10 out of 10 on the sandwich. But it also came with fries. The fries had a seasoning on it, which I have never tried. It was amazing. The seasoning was salty but sweet and a little smokey. So good. Also, their ranch was homemade, which is always a much appreciated bonus.“
“Ordered the Naan Tacos, and they were good. Naan was a bit hard in some spots which was a bit weird but they came out of a bag and we got there around 8pm so maybe they had been left out all day. There was a leaking roof with a bucket collecting drips, and the bathroom wasn't all that clean. $8 for two tacos was a good price IMO. Would try it again to see if the Naan is better, or maybe do a burrito instead, as the meat and veggies were great. Wish the Naan was made fresh would be my only suggestion.“
“My buddy recommended we try the burgers. So we stopped in. Glad we did they have fantastic Burgers made from quality meat. Very reasonable prices?? First class service from owners that care. I enjoyed the Persian Tea. Cannot wait to go back to try more dishes. Specifically Persian ones.“
“I made an order for pick up. I was not prepared! This is the BEST butter chicken I’ve EVER eaten!!! 6 out of 5 stars! I was stuffed, so saved my chili chicken momo. Only issue was that when you order garlic naan, you get only o e piece, where every other place serving naan will give minimum two. But it was delicious! Will be coming back for the butter chicken guaranteed.“
“Saw the great reviews and had to try it! The service was outstanding. It’s more of a cafe…order at the front and seat yourself. The flavor of the dishes were amazing. I felt like there wasn’t much meat in the dishes we ordered but the flavor was still there. The service was outstanding. Would come again!“
“We ordered half & half, Palak Paneer and Chicken Tikka, perfection! The seasoning, the dough, the freshness. It was really good. The customer service was welcoming and the restaurant was clean. I didn’t get a photo because we were too busy eating but I did pull this photo from their reviews for reference of what we wanted. Our pizza looked just like this and tasted amazing. First time here and we will definitely be back. A large was $32. Reasonably priced for quality of food and service.Vegetarian options: Palak PaneerKid-friendliness: Kid friendly“
“What ? yummy Thali! And it's unlimited quantity . The servers are so kind and courteous, they check on you so many times. My husband and I love the thali, We get a very good amount of food and each dish is so flavorful, we can repeat the lentils are the items that we loved. They also give a drink with this and desert. We tried their onam Thali and it was out of the world! Even better than the Bay Area Sadia thalis I have had.Courtesy and customer service are fantastic as well. Our "to go "place for weekend brunch“
“Ambience & feel is nice. Food taste is also good. Recommend starters - sweet & sour cauliflower, veg pakoda were the highlight. Main dish- Roji roti, butter garlic Naan, palak paneer, dal tadka, were tasty. You have the option to adjust spicy as per your taste. Aaloo gobhi was ok types.Didn't like Vegetable Biriyani though.“
“Updated final review after a year same authentic pakistani food taste same 10/10 service. I don't understand what's all those 1star reviews about. Very friendly staff reasonable price fresh food always. ? ? ?.Can't find a single thing about to complain about in whole year almost.“
“We stopped here for dinner based on some friends recommendation. Tried the chicken biryani, goat and chicken curry, roast chicken, mixed vegetables, and fried Pomphret (Thai) style. Everything tasted fantastic. The portion sizes could be a little more.“
“After making a spontaneous decision to show up here with my party of literally 20 people, I expect irritation at best and bad service at worst but they don't even miss a beat! Sat us immediately, all with smiles and wonderful attentiveness. Got our food in a timely manner, No ridiculous waits for such a large group. Nothing. Pleasantly surprised!“
“I came in here with my two non south Asian friends so we got a little bit of extra attention. We did the buffet which was great they had a lot of veg and non veg options! They had a live dosa station and pani puri station too. The staff was really attentive. The manager pointed out what was halal and what wasn't. He specified that normally everything is halal but there was an ordering mix up so one of the items was not. I felt really assured because of that. Food was great. Spice level for me was just fine (could have been spicier) one of my friends loved the food but couldn't handle the spice (they tried real hard though). We were so focused on the food we forgot to take photos!Dietary restrictions: Has halal food“
“So I really like Indian food but have a very basic understanding of this mostly vegetarian cuisine. This lunch buffet is awesome because you get to try ALLLLL the dishes. Obviously lots of veggie options (including vegetarian samosas and spring rolls), 1 fish dish, 3 chicken offerings and, much to my delight and surprise: goat. I LOVE lamb and goat and it is SO hard to find on the menu. Perfect little chunks of meat still clinging to the bone. If you know good food, then you know the joy of sucking the marrow out of the bone and these did NOT dissapoint!!!! But did they stop here? NOPE. There are dessert balls - which are like tiny donut holes soaking in a lovely honey sauce as well as mango soft serve (I mean, really, what self respecting buffet is complete without soft serve?). And on top of this feast (oh right, 3 kinds of naan: plain, garlic, and fried) they have a huge thermos like carafe with warm chai... all this for $18.99 per person. If you like Indian food but don't know anything about it or you're back from college break and want to introduce your parents to something new, this is a great place because you can try so many different (delicious) dishes for an incredibly reasonable price.“
“This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Rancho Cordova. All the dishes I tried are delicious. I love the Goat Biriyani the best. The curry dishes are excellent too.Priya Indian Cuisine also has a very good service and the dining room is comfortable and good looking.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian will have a good choice of yummy dishesParking: The parking lot is big. The parking in front of the restaurants may be hard to get. But there is a lot more parking with a short walk.Wheelchair accessibility: No problem with wheelchairs. The restaurant is on ground floor with ADA parking“
“This was our first visit to Rosie's. We stopped in to this family run spot for breakfast last week. The space has some kitschy little touches like a silverware clock and outlet plug ins in the booths??? It could definitely benefit from a little face lift. Service was another area that could have used a little improvement. We were greeted and seated and then left to our own for a bit. The menu options are plentiful which is not always a good thing. The food was mostly hit or miss for us. The hash browns on the Benedict are very pretty but were left uneaten due to the stale grease taste. The scramble was pretty tasty. This is a 3.5 star review for us which I will round up for being a family run establishment.“
“Quite good Indian food. I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about. It's possible that's because we dined when they were not too busy. Anyway, you can tell they make things more fresh than other Indian restaurants. Naans are great, and their butter chicken / paneer is very flavorful. I'd go back.“
“This is my second time enjoying breakfast at this cute cafe; each time the breakfast was remarkable. My daughter and granddaughters thought the pancakes and waffles were stellar (my wife also thought the pancakes were exceptional a week later when we next visited). The menu has great variety, and there truly is something for everyone. The place is very clean with a slight "old-time" ambiance with nice little booths and a larger dining area too.The service is superb...the prices are fair, the place is quaint, the food delicious, and the staff very efficient and gracious...How could you go wrong?“
“This is our new favorite Indian food in Sacramento. We came on a Sunday. The polite waiter said they have new management and a new cook. We had vegetable pakora, chicken biryani, garlic naan, and chicken korma. Everything was excellent.“
“The place is small and has too much stuff but the food is great. Nothing less of what I expect from a way more expensive restaurant. The SERVICE is INCREDIBLE!!! Warm and kind, servers waiting with enthusiasm. It worth a lot. Highly recommend if you are hungry and anywhere near citrus heights. Other wise it worth the trip! Enjoy ! Namaste!“
“This review is in response to @Vijenti Davis, who made a really harsh comment. Children can get enthusiastic occasionally. The restaurant performed well, and they were accommodating. This restaurant doesn't deserve bad reviews for their service.“
“This place is great I loved the food, however highly disliked the service, there was no one to be found near us. We had to call the waiter a few times fire water, more food etc. The waitress was rather rude. I somewhat recommend this place. Yes for food, no for service.“
“Phenomenal food. Cooked to perfection. Large portions. We came for dinner and were blown away. I highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a clean place with clean utensils and calming music. Daniel, Kartik, Vinny were on spot. Our plates were changed throughout the course of dinner and glasses refilled often. Thank you for the wonderful evening.Kid-friendliness: Great for the entire family.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps for easy access.“
“This is a new restaurant in my neighborhood and replaced a Chinese restaurant that had been in that space.I was looking for my first and main meal of the day and decided to try the new place. The restaurant was more bright and open than I remember as a Chinese restaurant. I liked the open, airy style of the new place. I was the only customer when I arrived at around 1:15 on a Tuesday - the week before Christmas. It seems that one orders from the order desk from one of 2 photocopied menus, pay, seat one's self and food will be prepared and delivered. There were no wall menus or table menus - just the two at the front desk. There seemed to be a nice mix of foods available from different culinary styles: Turkish, Chinese, Afghan, Iranian, etc. I settled on a chicken and rice dish: PalowThere was lots of rice and lots of Barberries. In the mound of rice I was able locate a roasted chicken leg. A separate plate included cucumber, lettuce, red cabbage, tomato slices, and red and yellow bell peppers with a chunk of lemon. I was not told how to eat these things or if this was a salad. I squeezed the lemon over the tomato and cucumber, cut up all of the veggies and added them to the rice! It turned out that everything was tasty and delicious. I liked the food and am glad that I did not read the reviews prior to coming because, since I was hungry, I may have thought twice! I might have been able to do with a few less barberries because of the tartness, but adding the chopped veggies seemed to downplay the tartness. The rice was nice and fluffy and combined well with everything else. The chicken was mildly seasoned, juicy, and combined well with the other flavors and textures.I noticed that the platter my entree was served on had a Chinese motif and was probably included with sale of the business. I have no problem with that. However, I do wish water - other than bottled water - could have been offered. I will return at some point to see how they are doing.“
“We came to view the homes and were exhausted with the trip and looking for Tea/Coffee nearby and found this Bombay cuisine. Their coffee and tea and snack items are pretty good and tasty. I would strongly recommend to go for it. I assume their other food items are also good but I won't comment here as I didn't taste it. But definitely worth going ..“
“The dining experience at this establishment is truly exceptional. With an extensive and seasonally curated menu, it undoubtedly qualifies as fine dining. While it may come with a higher price tag, the quality justifies the cost. Additionally, they offer various deals on different nights, making it worthwhile to explore before making reservations. Highly recommended for those seeking a memorable culinary experience. However, a suggestion for improvement would be to offer fresh milk for the Karak tea, which could enhance the overall beverage experience.Additional Note:It's advisable to check the availability of Hala food options before making reservations. While one day we enjoyed chicken, it wasn't available during our subsequent visit, as the offerings are subject to change. Nonetheless, our overall experience was delightful, with particularly commendable service from the staff, who were exceedingly friendly and accommodating. From Dubai“
“Food: fresh Indian spices. Raita included. They brought me a wrong item but gave it anyway, then brought right one. The portions were large. Birani and Allo gobi, buttered naan all great. Samosas were OK but not best in class. Many Indian and Pakistani people streamed in. The table filled soon. The carry out was constant. Atmosphere clean, couteous, and polite; decor was very basic. It was reasonably priced. I will make it a regular. Families and friends were in abundance. Definitely homey. Do again for sure. Very good food. Enough for a second or third meal. Dishes very suitable for sharing.Vegetarian options: Aloi gobi was great!“
“Came n a stranger to this amazing food. I wanted something I saw on their website but was told it was only served for lunch. But once he found out it was my first time eating here he made his chefs cook me that plate so that I could have a taste of their delicious food!?“
“I wanted to make some Indian food at home, but couldn't find the spices I needed at my usual grocery store. I came here and was able to get everything I needed at a very affordable price. I recommend you check here for any specialty spices and while you are here, take a look around and find something new to try!“
