“We went on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was completely empty, which surprised us since downtown was so busy. The pizza was good, but nothing to write home about. They had one guy working when we came in. He took our order, made our food, attended to a few pick up orders, and answered the phone multiple times. He did all of that and we still got our pizza in a very timely manner. 3 star pizza, but I'll give it 4 stars for the man behind the counter.“
“Staff were very friendly and helpful answering my questions about menu items. I haven't had many Pakistan or East Indian dishes but I have raised my own goats and am a fan of good goat meat so I ordered the Goat Palak wich is a curry dish with spinach, it comes with rice and I ordered the garlic Naan and a yogurt and mango shake that I can't remember the name but was so delicious. The food was amazing! The goat was tender and perfectly spiced, I was very impressed! The meal was very satisfying and delightful. I will eat here again for sure!“
“Took a chance, going for something new and although the location and first appearance of the outside wasn't all that inviting, nor the inside ...the wait time was long despite there only being a few people sitting to eat, ( around 35 min) but it seemed everything was fresh, so not really complaining ?.We got ours to go. the food was absolutely delicious.(spicy)? The portions were more than enough for two, the chutney were delicious .The price was absolutely unbelievable in this day. I Definitely will be back! ?Next time will definitely take advantage of the full case of authentic pastries,I had no idea of what was what, but they all looked very fresh and inviting.(The photo is from home. ) There were at least 3 of these plates worth!❤️ 4 samosasa.“
“Stopped in last night for some take out and found out the place was under new management! I am excited to support my fellow women owned businesses always and noticed that these ladies really do care about the overall customer experience. They were very attentive, friendly, and the owner even took the time to chat with me. The chutney that came with my order was not runny as before. It was thick and flavorful the way I make it at home. Best of luck to you ladies, I know the hard work it takes to run a business and you guys are doing great! I will be stopping by again when I am in town!“
“Best chicken curry i’ve had in long time. Perfect balance of heat and flavors. Some rice and two roti’s and I was in curry heaven. The service was top notch. I’m still recovering from an injury and they brought it out to my car with a great attitude. Price was fair and food quality was excellent. It’s in my neighborhood and will probably be a weekly visit. My only fear is it will change. See you soon“
“If you love Indian food, The Taj is a must try. This place has won us over with its impeccable cleanliness, flavorful dishes, great pricing, and super kind hospitality of its staff. We've dined there twice now, and each time, we've stuck to the classics like butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and chicken vindaloo – all of which were fantastic! But what really surprised us were the lesser-known dishes we discovered – malai kofta(my new favorite!), tandoori chicken, fish pakora(another new favorite!!), and karahi paneer. They were like hidden gems on the menu, bursting with flavor and utterly delicious. And let's not forget the garlic naan, mango lassi, and those mouthwatering samosas!Oh, and don't even get me started on the chutneys, sauces, and the dessert counter – everything is so delicious! It's safe to say that if you're not dining at The Taj, you're truly missing out on unforgettable Indian food.“

“We got delivery and were so pleased we decided to try this place. The korma and the garlic Naan were a delicious combo and the samosas were so good. The tandoori chicken was not as flavorful but it was still cooked really well and very tender. We will definitely be back to try more things!“
“Hidden gem in Yuba City. Everything was wonderful from the moment we entered the door. After being greeted and seated, the chef and owner, Vic, made recommendations and took our order. Everything was made fresh and it was a lot of food. There was nothing scant about the portions. Everything was delicious. A must try is the paneer pakora (also made fresh by the Uncle there) that was a stand-out appetizer. We definitely left home with takeout boxes because and for very decent prices. If you're feeling authentic Indian food in a relaxed environment, with quality food, this is definitely the place to go.“
