Super friendly and helpful and upbeat, very patient and answered all our questions with such a good attitude! The food was amazing! Super fresh, flavorful, good portions and cooked perfectly! I’ll be going back again soon!“

“Ray is the best of the best. Incredible service, great energy—the kind of server who makes you want to come back before you’ve even left.

But tonight, they cut Ray and switched our server halfway through. Excuse me? You don’t bench your MVP while the game is still going. We came for dinner, not an unexpected custody transfer.

No shade to the replacement, but we had already emotionally committed to the Ray experience. According to the completely imaginary stock market in my head, Daikon shares dropped 80% the moment he clocked out. Investors are panicking. I’m investors.

Management, please keep Ray serving. Give him his own section, a crown, and possibly a small ownership stake. Five stars for Ray. One formal complaint for the plot twist.“

“I went on two separate occasions and the chicken tenders were Krunchy, the potato wedges were fresh, and the biscuits were fluffy!
The women cooking the food is very nice and seems to take a lot of pride in making sure the food is consistently good!“

“First time eating here last night. We ordered Gumbo, Garlic noodles, Wings, Tiffany wings, Shrimp basket, Sweet Potato fries and it all turned out to be very delicious. The decor was fun and vibrant. The music was the right touch. This place has been here for 11 years, it’s located right after the corner gas station Mack Rd and Stockton Blvd. We’ve overlooked it for some time and we were pleased with our visit. Can’t wait to go back to try more food. It was an amazing experience especially because of Richard, for his hospitality! 🤗“

In my opinion, it’s even better than Boiling Crab. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Went to this place on Juneteenth to put money back in the community. The wait was long but, the food was amazing. This is the best fried chicken I have had in a long time.

This place could dominate if they decide to do a bucket of chicken. They would put chain chicken places out of business.

One thing just call ahead and order as there is long wait for the food.

“I was getting movie tickets at Regal and decided to give them a try. One of the very few places that have fried catfish on the menu. I got the Catfish basket with Cajun fries at $14. Basket came with 3 pieces of fish and a healthy serving of fries, also 1 tartar, 1 ketchup and 1 ranch sauce. Fries were plentiful and crispy with a nice hint of spiciness. The fish was lightly breaded, moist and flavorful. Although the menu said Catfish, I'm not sure if it was Basa, which is sometimes used in place of catfish. I could have liked 1 more piece of fish for the price as they were like half fillets. All in all I had a good experience and my fried fish cravings were satisfied.“
