“The wait at Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken on Mack Road (approximately 10-15 minutes) is a worthwhile commitment, ensuring the food arrives steaming hot as it is prepared fresh upon order. The fried chicken is the standout, featuring a perfectly executed, lightly battered crust that is wonderfully crispy and less salty than expected, highlighting the quality of the meat.

Conversely, the gumbo is a letdown; it lacks the depth and numerous ingredients required for an authentic Louisiana preparation. It is important for guests to remember this is strictly a to-go restaurant with no dine-in service, but it does offer the convenience of plenty of free parking. Despite the disappointing gumbo, the excellent fried chicken makes this spot a highly recommended visit.

“I went on two separate occasions and the chicken tenders were Krunchy, the potato wedges were fresh, and the biscuits were fluffy!
The women cooking the food is very nice and seems to take a lot of pride in making sure the food is consistently good!“

“My first time here. I had the gumbo, which was very good. Had such good flavor. I had the house crab and garlic noodles. I was trying something new and different from how I normally eat crab. It wasn't bad, just not my preference. I'd definitely go back to try more.“

“Jared was great at getting us a table and fitting our large party in for the evening! The food was good however the service like many others stated could be improved. We often felt we had to ask for help from the other servers to help clean and buss off our table to fit the food they were bringing, we had to ask for refills, grill changes, buss table etc and felt like every 10 min we had to be looking for our server or asking someone else to help. Hopefully they can improve the flow ensuring the guests are enjoying the experience rather than serving themselves esp with the robot delivery. We were grabbing food off of the tray and it started moving causing a plate to fall.“

“The food did not disappoint. I got the three way combo fried chicken, ribs, and catfish. All the meats were cooked perfectly and seasoned like I was at a family cookout with the aunties and uncles. The sides were so delicious! My favorite was the cabbage and mac n cheese!! I will be coming back!“

I ordered the Combo B with garlic butter (mild spicy), and it was absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be back! I took my order to go, and the young lady at the front desk was super sweet, patient, and had my food ready within 20 minutes. Excellent service and amazing food!“
