About Louisiana Heaven

Louisiana Heaven offers delicious and tasty food, with standout dishes including ribs, macaroni and cheese, hot links, and cabbage. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, though there may be a slight wait for food. During lunch hours, their Boudin Balls, available in both Hot Cheeto and regular options, are a must-try. The meals are well-seasoned and cooked perfectly, with portions that are very generous. Customers have enjoyed the catfish, shrimp, and Fried Chicken, noting that nothing was overly greasy and all items were flavorful. The sides such as collard greens, potato salad, red beans and rice, and Mac and Cheese receive high praise, with the Mac and Cheese being described as "off the hook." The cornbread, though looking different, tastes really good—light and fluffy rather than dense. Overall, diners leave satisfied and impressed by the variety and quality of the meal options. The atmosphere is relaxed, and staff are friendly and accommodating, making for an enjoyable dining experience. Many customers have praised the authentic homemade touch, great flavors, and excellent service. Visitors have enjoyed dishes like shrimp and grits, catfish with macaroni and cheese, and greens, often returning for more. The vibe is friendly, and the overall experience is highly recommended for those seeking the best soul food in the area.

If you’re looking for true Southern comfort food, this place feels like stepping into grandma’s kitchen on a Sunday afternoon. Every bite tasted homemade — from the crispy fried chicken to the buttery cornbread and slow-cooked greens seasoned just right. The portions were generous, the flavors were rich and comforting, and you could tell everything was made with care. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, like family gathering around the dinner table. Definitely the kind...read full review
