“First time having dim sum at this spot, was super impressed. The service here is wonderful, everything was quick and hot/fresh, and staff was very attentive. Food was good, 4-4.5. Came with family on Sunday around when they opened and it wasn't crowded. We really enjoyed ourselves, will be back and reccomend to others.“

“Went there for a Tuesday lunch with a group of eight. Fortunately one in our party spoke Cantonese and was familiar with the many choices. The food was served quickly and fresh. A bit more expensive than a standard Chinese restaurant menu, but definitely more authentic and tasty. Service was quick and efficient.“

“We decided to try this place on a whim since we pass by it diving to our gym all the time. We ordered pork fried rice, pork chow mien, general Tao chicken, and Mongolian beef. 2 adults and one very hungry teenager ate and we had enough for left overs for all of us the next day. The food was the best Chinese food I've had in a while and definitely the best tasting in the area. Portions were generous, staff was super friendly, place was clean... what more could you ask for? We're already ordering again since my son requested it for his birthday dinner. This is now our go to for Chinese.“

“We attended on an unassuming Saturday evening in December. We noticed that no music plays, but that was pleasant to me. Not much of the restaurant was filled up, as it seems takeout and food courier services are frequent. However, we were greeted quickly and friendlily.
It took maybe 5 minutes to order and a proper few more to receive our food. However, we did receive it all at the same time, for which I grateful.
The pork chow mein was appreciatively lacking in sugar; however, one member of the party remarked that it was a tad salty for them. We enjoyed a very solid and well-portioned mandarin chicken (with baby corn).
Finally, we tried the shrimp-stuffed fried tofu, which I must recommend to anyone willing to try something. It is silk tofu (very soft) with a mince shrimp ball placed on top, all fried and coated in a light, savory sauce. There were 8 pieces in the portion, and I could have eaten them all myself. I will likely come back for this.“

“I think they have the best chow mein in town. And they make really good hamburgers (and perfect fries) for less than any of our local chain store/fast food places.Their broccoli beef is super yummy too. So to their fried rice. I haven't tried much else from their extensive menu but I suppose I should because I like all their food that I have tried. I am also very sensitive to MSG and have never ever gotten a headache after eating their food; and I react quickly and painfully to even a trace of that stuff in my food.
This is a take-out location. There is no seating for eating there, but they are fast with any order. Call your order in and it'll be ready when you get there.“

“I’ve had authentic Chinese food and grew up in a very prominently asian area. I know what good Chinese food is supposed to taste like and Sacramento has been overall disappointing with the Chinese food I’ve encountered. A friend told me to come here and I’m so glad she did because WOW!!! I haven’t had this deliciously authentic tasting Chinese food in AGES!!! Like, do you even understand how hard it is so have CRISPY orange chicken without overcooking the chicken inside???
And the portions were shockingly enormous which is saying something since family style Chinese food is always generous servings. I’ve paid way more for way less.
Overall the food was incredible and this is officially my new favorite Chinese place. My only qualm was they didn’t give us any fortune cookies ;_;.“

“The dim sum is delicious and there are many varieties of dim sum. The service is also very good and the manager and waiters are very friendly too. The place is very big, it should be good to have a party~“

“Solid Cantonese Dim Sum With Traditional Push Carts!
Ming Dynasty on Broadway in Sacramento was a Michelin Guide-recommended restaurant in 2019. It’s known for serving all-day dim sum from traditional push carts, so I considered it a good choice for Cantonese food and dim sum.
Parking: Free but limited within the complex
Ambience: Casual
Service: Decent, friendly
They also have areas you can rent for private parties, such as baby showers and other gatherings.
The dim sum carts had barely started making their way around the room when the next cart stopped by our table. The carts were constantly being refilled with a wide variety of dishes and continuously circulating, so there were plenty of options to choose from.
We ordered the usual dim sum favorites. Everything was tasty with no major issues, and the prices were reasonable.
Overall, it’s a solid choice for traditional Cantonese dim sum in Sacramento, especially if you like the old-school push-cart experience.“

“I ordered doordash but I ordered late in the day. The food tasted like we were one of the first orders of the day. I am extremely impressed with the flavors and the quality. They could've taken the late night easy way out but didn't and my family ABSOLUTELY loved every single bite. Absolutely delicious. I wish there was a higher ranking word I could think of but I am ready for bed. Lol. Awesome food. Thank you thank you thank you.“

“The food has been consistent here at New Hong Kong Wok. We came here and order AUTO basics everything was hot fresh and delicious. Bring some friends or bring the whole family so you can do family style meals here. Average pricing and huge portions everyone was stuffed and satisfied. The service tonight was a bit slow, but the whole restaurant was packed.“

“Easily one of the best food offerings Sacramento has to offer! A low key but very popular hole in the wall serving over the counter dim sum and other baked goods. All at great prices.
We ordered the shrimp dumpling, pork dumpling, pork potsticker, shrimp Cheung Fun, baked BBQ pork bun, hot dog bun, pineapple bun, egg tart, red bean sesame ball, crispy shrimp ball, mochi biscuit red bean, and glutinous rice with peanut.
Everything was delicious, but our absolute favorites were the baked BBQ pork bun (which is what they are most known for) and the pineapple bun.
Service was quick, efficient and kind even with a long line. Get there early before items are out, by 10 am on a Sunday when we went they were already out of steamed BBQ pork buns. If you have a long list of items write it down on paper or your phone and simply hand it over at the front of the line. Pay with cash or debit card, no credit card.“
