Wendy's in Sacramento

“Establishment was pristine in condition. I ordered a small chili with extra shredded cheese, sweet onions and sour cream. It was ready in light seconds! All the tables and counters were wiped down. All attitudes were on point! Excellent job to all at this Wendy’s!!“

“Honestly, I have to come clean and say I had Wendy's at a truck stop when I was younger, didn't like it, and for probably 20+ years never gave them a fair break.

Now, it's probably my favorite fast food place today.

The meat on their burgers is the most natural non-chemical, non-filler tasting burgers I can find almost anywhere in 2025.

I just had a chile cheese potato with butter and sour cream and it was AMAZING!

The fact that they make their own chili with the prime beef they use in their burgers is incredible, and what other fast food place even offers a baked potato??

I'm still getting to learn the menu and app better but this place has taught me I was so wrong about them. The burger was so good I actually went and looked up their beef! That should really tell you something.

In-N-Out doesn't even have beef this good and I'm sorry, but Dave's Double makes the Double Double look like a Big Mac. I'm fond of the Dave's Triple, and then I found out that Wendy's has a secret menu too??? And it's amazing, you really should check it out!

My wife is (was) an In-N-Out fan, so I brought her home a burger and a frosty, she's hooked now. She says compared to Wendy's, In-N-Out doesn't have any meat on their burgers!

I swear, I'm going to get a Dave's Double, a Double Double, and a Big Mac, take a photo comparing them cut in the middle, and add it!

Anyway, thank you. I work close by, and a co-worker goes here so I decided to give it a shot after decades of avoiding all Wendy's. I'm so glad I did, I had no idea, this place is so underrated!

There are no better burgers around here anywhere near their price range, when I think about how busy other drive-thrus are compared to them it feels like a crime, this place deserves more business.“

“I went to get a chicken bacon sandwich after breakfast and accidentally ordered a burger and almost cried about it.
But the ladies gave me 2 of the chicken breakfast sandwich when I came back which was what I was trying to order originally.
Made my day.
Also the homeless lady at the intersections as I gave her the beef burger since I cant do lettuce or tomato.
I mean I litterlay started to cry when I saw the beef burger. I wanted chicken so bad.“

“I ordered the Biggie bag. Everything came out hot, fresh and delicious. The cashier/ server was very warm and welcoming.

The restaurant itselfwas very maintained. The person mentioned earlier came out from behind the stations and wiped down all tables. You can tell her cares alot about his job and the way the customers views the restaurant.

However, the bathroom was a bit messy.“

The bun looked plain, the bacon curled, the cheese a little flat,
It looked like desert winds had passed and simply left it that.
No juicy shine, no melty glow to tempt me with a grin,
It sat there kinda dry, like flavor might be thin.

But I believe in second chances, so I took a bite,
And instantly, my doubts were gone — the flavor hit just right.
The beef was rich, the bacon crisp, the cheese began to melt,
And all at once, that little burger made its presence felt.

The smoky bacon kissed the beef, the cheese brought creamy flow,
My eyes were wrong — my tongue declared, “This thing’s the star of the show!”
So Wendy’s, next time make it look as good as it can be,
‘Cause even though it fooled my eyes — the taste convinced me totally!“

“I swear I was in the drive-through for 30 minutes. The food is so good, but dang, it takes so long!! Meals are SO expensive now, and we got half filled French fries. 57 bucks for 4 meals... that's crazy! I think it'll be a while before we go back.“
