“Was hungry for lunch and had errands to run nearby (R Street). At first I scoffed at the price for a katsu sando bc $16 is a lot. When it came out, I saw it was worth it. Not because it's delicious--it is--but because it is a HEFTY sandwich. I ordered the Jtown spicy chicken. I ate half + half a cookie and was stuffed. I took the other half home. The little box it came in was heavy. It's a solid block of yum. I would definitely come back for a shared lunch next time. Nice staff. Sunny table. Great cookie. The black sesame miso chocolate chip cookie was amazingly chewy and beautiful. I'll be back.“

“The service is good...I was short money the other day and really needed to eat and I was straight up honest with the guy about it and he told me not to worry about it and that he had me...that was cool because I had just lost my mom that morning and hadn't been eating and had to force myself to eat...they also have no problem giving me free ice and that comes in hella handy on these hot a** Sacramento summer days“

“I was craving bbq tonight so I looked up BBQ spots nearby and found this place. Never heard of it but decided to give it a try due to the good reviews. Maaaaaan when I say their food is fireee!!!! I mean tender fall off the bone meat. Everything was so good!! Bomb bomb bomb!!! Definitely recommend and I definitely found my new go to bbq spot!“
