Kinjo Hand Roll Bar Reviews
Our family tried the 5 hand rolls, special HRs, pork belly fries, unagi donburi, and sake bombs. The server gave our toddler activities and our favorite part was sitting where we can see the sushi chefs work their skills behind the bar. Definitely try the specials!! There's also a cute alley as a dining option.
Absolutely my favorite restaurant in Sacramento. Food is incredible, love the atmosphere and sitting at the bar. Jay is fantastic at making handrolls and serving guests. The oysters are divine. Can’t say enough great things about this little spot.
Ok. I have been 2x now so I feel like I can fairly rate. The fish is always fresh and yummy and the toppings are well balanced. This time I sat on the patio off to the side with my dog and they were REALLY nice to her. The brought her a yummy treat. The hand rolls are STUFFED and filling which i appreciate. I’m excited to keep visiting!

Kinjo Hand Roll Bar is a small, stylish restaurant in Sacramento that specializes in hand rolls. The 4 roll special offers a variety of tasty rolls, with salmon and tuna standing out for their high-quality fish. Customers praise the excellence of service, execution, and passion at Kinjo. The hand rolls are well-crafted, allowing the fresh fish and seafood to shine, with unique and delicious options like the zig zag roll. The detailed and innovative rolls, such as the zig zag, are a hit with customers. The friendly and welcoming service, along with a lively atmosphere, makes for an enjoyable dining experience. Sapporo on Tap is a recommended drink to try. However, due to limited seating, arriving early or late can help avoid the crowd. While the place may feel industrial and a bit quiet inside, the delicious food and atmosphere make it worth a visit. Many customers suggest sitting at the bar to watch the chefs work or ordering to go if preferred. The restaurant's high-quality fish and thoughtful flavor combinations make it a favorite for those seeking tasty hand rolls.
