I went to Ernestos because I was hungry. I've heen told they use to be very good before Covid..so I said why not check it out. It was super slow maybe 8 or 10 customers. My ex wife and I waited for service way to long. The restaurant looked like they were short staffed. So I let it go. The food to me was OK...it was the chips and salsa that did it. So basically it's a Happy hour bar with just OK food.
Ernesto's is still excellent. Im not sure why it was empty.
Although I've been to Ernesto's many other times in the past, my son was not pleased with the carnitas plate. He's always loved the carnitas and was not happy this time with them. Hopefully it wasn't because of a new cook. But I can't rate on the service and atmosphere. I love Ernesto's.
