“What a great place to have a drink and support your vets! Bartender Vanessa and Kelly are supper attentive! Drinks are cheap and flow effortlessly. Felicia in the kitchen makes the best chicken tenders in the game! This is a west sac institution and a must stop if you're in the area. 10/10 recommend!!“
“Nice little place. The service was good and the food was tasty. They pay very close attention to the presentation of their food which of course also add to the way it tastes since we also eat with our eyes. I would go here again but not sure when since it’s a good distance from where I live and I’m not it that area often.“
“My partner and I had such a great time here! We arrived just in time for Happy Hour, received excellent service from Christian and ate some amazing food. We can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. We had some of the best lemon pepper wings & chicken lumpia we’ve ever had here!“
“Came here for the first time and right off the bat the atmosphere was super cool. Our bartender Christy was absolutely fabulous and her pineapple upside down cake shot was AMAZING!! Environment was super friendly and I totally recommend this place if your looking to chill have some drinks and have a GREAT time!!“
“We continue to have delightful experiences here - a result of the pleasant and happy staff paired with thoughtfully sourced and expertly crafted cuisine. Dining in this space you can feel that the team cares about the work they are doing and take pleasure in delivering excellent experiences to their guests. The service is warm and attentive, the cuisine is considered but not fussy - warm vibes and good eats, what else could one ask for? Highlights: winter BLT, Beet Panzanella, Pork Belly, you can’t go wrong.“
“Came for dinner when we couldn't find any other restaurant open after a night of line dancing. How lucky we did! We still haven't stopped talking about how delicious the deviled eggs were or how we wiped our plates with our fingers to get every morsel. The only thing we didn't order was our table - it was drafty and cold.“
“Decided to try something new and what a find! The staff are very informative and will help guide you if it’s your first time consuming kava. There are great options for snacks sold here too! Love the live music on the weekends, the jazz band was fabulous! Must try if you’re in Midtown!“
“Total gem! Amazing drinks, impeccable service, cool atmosphere and music. Came for an espresso martini (Mexican chocolate is a killer touch!) and was blown away by the creativity and balance of the craft cocktails. 10/10 would recommend. Staff was great. Bar manager was next level. Can't wait to come back!“
“Had dinner here twice. Can get busy so make reservation or prepare to wait. Really good food. As expected, the fried chicken is the star. In my opinion, their prices are too low for the quality and portion size. Enjoyed the overall vibe and service was friendly and efficient despite how busy the restaurant was.“
“+ back patio with charming + quaint atmosphere+ food was good+ food was prepared quickly+ they have goat cheese• service was perfunctory- tried to seat us on the front patio next to the street. Had to request back patio. Service disappeared for a while, had to go awkwardly find someone to ask for the check.“
“Nice waterfront restaurant floating on the river, with beautiful views and great service. I just ate the best lobster sandwich ever. I lived in New England area and have had lobster sandwiches there and in other parts of California, so I have had experience. Cole slaw was also delicious! I definitely recommend! I am coming back the next time I fly into SMF!“
“Good food. We sat outside, which (for me) was really loud street traffic (at no fault of the restaurant, of course). But I'm from the country and not used to it. Fodder was great. I had the Korean fried chicken, not something I've ever had before, and it was really good!Kid-friendliness: The has a kids menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Right off the street. No steps or anything the would not accommodate a wheelchair or similarmedical device that I can see.“
“This is fine dining at its best. The timing in your order is on point. The bar can make any drink taste amazing. The food, my duck was more than fulfilling, the best I've had in a long time.Great for any occasion. You've got to come here!“
“When I say I love this place I mean I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Omg it's so good, service, food and drinks!!! If you happen to be driving by off Northgate do yourself a favor and stop in. They have a patio in back as well! The ambiance is very inviting.“
“Lowkey bar/lounge with great ambiance, good selection and fair pricing. Service was attentive without being overbearing and he made good suggestions. I don't love that they're only open a couple nights a week but it's a great little place to grab drinks before or after dinner when you're in the Midtown/downtown area.“
“I'm sorry I don't have a yelp but **please read my review*** I just went in and was greeted by Steve and Cole. Amazing staff, the dynamic duo. I went alone and they made sure I didn't feel alone. Cole addressed me by name and both were consistently checking in on me. Great food, great drinks, reasonably priced and best of all the music and atmosphere was 10/10. From mcr to sotd. Small but cozy. 12/10 experience. Please don't go anywhere!“
“This is the perfect time lunch spot after the zoo, fairy tale town. They service breakfast till 2 on Saturday! My daughter loves breakfast [pancakes] her friend we brought only likes chicken littles [nuggets] and I was craving a taco so bad. This place made it all happen! We been back 3 times!Kid-friendliness: Have kids menu with america and Mexican food.“
“What a gem of a place! Great atmosphere, great drinks and food. Very enjoyable spot to hang out and/or meet up with friends. New ownership is making significant changes in turning this place around from what it was and it’s definitely noticeable. Keep up the good “
“Pete's is a great place to stop off for a beer and some true pub style food. My wife and I came here on a Thursday night before going to the Steve Trevino show. We walked In and were seated right away by a very upbeat, energetic young man (5'11, brown hair, man-bun). All of the food we had was very good and the services was even better. The young man who seated us was running the whole floor by himself. We were both really impressed with his upbeat attitude and his ability to work the entire restaurant. Management should be very grateful!“
“Went here with a small work group for Christmas drinks. It's pretty intimate (small) area, but not overly so. Might be a decent date place, although it can be a little loud with the music and everyone talking, which is to be expected at most nighttime establishments. They have a good selection of specialty cocktails, and have some very top shelf sprirts available ($400+) for the adventurous. Great service too!“
“This quaint little place is the perfect spot for a good drink and even better food. The people are friendly and the bartenders are helpful and very nice. There's a lot of history behind it so if you're in the mood, hit this place up. You won't be “
“Excellent vibes for a date! Went here as the start to a double date and we had a blast playing pool. I had the meadowfoot and it was phenomenal. They had a yummy non-alcoholic kombucha option too which is so appreciated so everyone felt included! Great staff, too!“
“An interesting new experience. Me and my son enjoyed it. Eating without utensils has a learning curve, but we managed. We got the super sampler to have a broader experience. The interior is comfortable clean. Our server was attentive without being intrusive.“
“This is a great old school bar which we absolutely plan to visit again. Popped in for a couple of (tasty) Bloody Marys and we were not disappointed. Had we known that posole and taquitos were going to show up we wouldn't have stuffed ourselves at The Stagecoach first! Great service and can't beat the drink prices.“
“Had a great time everyone was dancing and totally enjoying the great trumpets and saxophones , drums , the young vocalist was amazing. I got to help hold a beautiful saxophone for one of the performers!!! (Woo woo! ) I felt special. He just so happened to be on the bar ! Yes on The BAR! It was crazy and exciting! I will definitely be back here again. Maybe I'll get to hold someone's trumpet next time lol .....thank you,, Torch Club Sincerely, Terra PS. AND THE BARTENDER SHE WAS GREAT TOO!!¡“
“Drove and met some friends here for our weekly outing and had a great time. Food and drinks were great! Prices are very reasonable and the service was better than expected. Friendly and fast. Great decor and atmosphere settings. Will be coming back again.“
“Great bar! Need to come back. The environment was welcoming . I need to taste more of their cocktails or food too. I was able to spend some time here on a a late Saturday afternoon. There wasn’t a line, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the ambiance was welcoming. The menu was extensive enough to have options for everyone. The prices were great for the value.I ordered the “Gnome” and my girlfriend had aMezcal “mojito” variation (don’t think it was on the menu). The mezcal drink was tastier for me. The Gnome was a bit outside of my comfort zone. This is what it was made with : OLIVE OIL FAT WASHED GIN. FINO SHERRY, YELLOW CHARTREUSE.Overall . The menu was great, the spirit selection was extensive, the atmosphere was welcoming , the staff was friendly, and we liked a few of their drinks. Will be coming back to try more of the menu!“
“Lovely restaurant. It is very modern and pretty inside. Menu is small, about 5 appetizers and 5 main courses to choose from. Changes seasonally. I had the citrus salad and halibut. The salad was so good! I know, a salad right? Trust me, it was delicious. Halibut was cooked perfectly. My date had the rib eye and artichoke soup. He said it was probably the best rib eye he's ever had. It had a mushroom tartlet that was good as well, but we both thought it would be perfect if maybe there was a small portion of fondant potatoes as well. Soup was alright, but he preferred the citrus salad over the soup, as the soup was more one dimensional. Service was good. Wine list was good. Old fashioned was also nice.“
“Needing to kill some time, I stopped in here yesterday for a drink and hoping to charge my phone, both of which were accomplished. This place is so cool and unique! The guy who helped me was so nice and I had a great time just taking in the eclectic decor and relaxing for a bit. The beer list isn't huge but there's something for everyone and I had a great Pilsner. I loved it here and can't wait to come back and bring friends next time I'm in town!“
“Had dinner before a concert at Golden 1. The food was awesome. I had the burger with blue cheese crumbles and avocado with a side of garlic french fries. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. We also had drinks the bar is really cool downstairs. Fun place to go for a night out.“
“Best lil dive bar I've been in in a long time. It's a regulars bar, a local watering hole. It can get a bit loud as bars do but if you're used to hearing your family yelling and laughing during family functions then you will feel like you're home. All seem to be welcome here as long as they are good hearted.“
“I love coming here for the glazed salmon it's so delicious! Pricey though about $30 bucks a plate. Love the dimmer lighting inside here, it makes it feel so perfect for a date night!I think the ladies in the front can do better in greeting. They stare a lot once you come in and expect you to be the first to say hi but the waiters have all been great.“
“I came here for the first time to watch the superbowl this past Sunday, it was great. The food is good the waitresses are great, we also met the owner and he was very welcoming and nice, my husband shared a drink with him. We love that it is dog friendly in the patio area as well! This is a great place to watch any sports as there are multiple TVs and projectors.“
“Kupros is always a nice place to hang out, eat good food and they have a great selection of beers or a full bar if you're after something stronger. I've been there for parties and to just relax and enjoyed both experiences!Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options!Parking: Decent sized parking lot across the street“
“Overall pretty solid but wouldn't wait the hour +. Went right during lunch so was open. Really friendly waiter. I'd skip on the karate next time but the pork in this tonkatsu was amazing! Handroll was also solid. I'd rate a 7/10 overall. Loved the entrance, design, and atmosphere which really felt like I was back in Japan!“
“I had the country fried steak, the portion was big and tasty. I also bought my wife the steak and eggs breakfast she agreed that this place makes great breakfasts. My next venture will be the French dip sandwich but why should I stop with just that one sandwich. I’ll be trying everything on their menu to see what I like better. I’m a French dip ,country fried steak and BLT type of person.“
“Excellent service! We were a bit late for our reservation on Saturday 3/23 and had to be at a show, so I was concerned we wouldn't have enough time to be seated, eat, and pay. The whole crew from the hostess staff, the back of house chefs, and the waiter went out of their way to make our experience pleasant. They didn't know that the dinner and show were a gift for my 15 year old son's birthday, and that they had a part in setting the night on the right foot. The place just seemed to be run well. The food came out hot and we enjoyed each dish, the ambiance is really warm and inviting with cool art, and the prices are reasonable. We'll be back to try some Vegan dishes next time we're in downtown Sacramento!“
“Been here twice now, I dined in once and did takeaway the other. Both times the food and service have been excellent. I got the massaman curry with chicken as I'm a creature of habit. Also both times I've been here it hasn't been busy. Show this place some love, it's worth the trip.“
“Love Midtown Spirits! Great vibe, friendly staff, yummy drinks and love, love the Filipino Brunch!!! They recently added Pork Adobo on the menu and it reminds me of home cooked adobo from my childhood! Thank you Midtown Spirits for bringing a bit of Filipino cuisine to Sacramento!!“
“Rex is hands down the best karaoke DJ EVER. He and the whole crew at Mother Lode will make you feel right at home, like family. In town for a business trip not knowing a soul and was instantly welcomed at this humble bar by good hearted people. ❤️“
“I live right near this bar so it comes in clutch whenever I wanna take a walk and have a little drinky drink . Only thing I will say negatively is that older lady at the bar, it seems like she picks and chooses who she wants to be short with (if you know what I mean) .. I’ve had no problems with the guy bartender and one of the younger girls named Shauna they are welcoming EVERYONE with open arms . This bar has so much potiental for EVERYONE.. don’t put all your eggs in one basket“
“We had dinner for the first time the other night and everything was excellent. I was the only Vegan in our group and they had quite a few vegan options. I had for starters the crispy tofu and spring rolls, also the Pad Thai and the rice mango dessert. Our waiter was on top of things and it was just an all-around great experience. Told my daughter because she and her husband are vegan. We will definitely be back“
“My man wanted to get a drink around noon and we were downtown. The usual bars dont open until 4pm. My guy said he heard of a place that was open now and has cheap good drinks. So I said why not. When we got to the door I knew what time it was (dive bar). It's not pretty. But I felt comfortable. It was a mix of people old and young. The bar is old but if those walls could talk. The stories it would tell. The man behind the counter was nice and promptly served us. We asked for Mai Tai's. He was honest and said he couldn't remember how to make it. It's been years lol. We made it easy for him and got 4 Old fashions (2 each). They were good and strong. Not watered down and got the job done. And the best part. Only $16. That's unheard of now days. Good place to pregame before a event or if you want a quick cheap drink without all the pomp and circumstances this place is cool.“
“Drinks: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 I came to Bottle & Barlow on a Sunday evening, so things were slower. The bartender, Ryan, was awesome. He was friendly and helpful as soon as we walked in. The service was great, the drinks were solid, and the prices were to be expected. This was my second time at Bottle & Barlow (I enjoyed their Christmas pop-up), but I'll absolutely be back.“
“I honestly haven't been here in about 30 years, but a reddit user vented so I came here to show my support. This business has been here for a very long time. I used to go w/ my friend when he worked for pac bell (ATT). So much fun. Good times. Not a dance club. Just a bar w/ some pool tables. Perfect for someone like me.“
“Upon staying at the Fort Sutter Hotel, the team and Four Palms were exceptionally welcoming, engaging and helpful with recommendations. Khari, Makayla and Ness went the extra mile! Four Palms offers the full Bernardo Cafe menu and ensured NBA games were on and the music playlist fit their vibe. Great wine selection, too.“
“Great place. Whoever said the owners are trying to make this into a "black place" lol. Clearly not. But even if it was. What does it matter? Wether it's black, white, purple, green, yellow....you get where I'm going..? Anyway. I recommend checking it out.“
“Excellent place to play Pool. Cue sticks and Tables are in great condition. Owner and staffs are very friendly and make you feel like home. I have been coming back to here over 20 times in the past year. Highly recommend you check them out! ?“
“Located right off the river road this is a West Sacramento staple. A true hidden gem. Whether it's morning for micheladas, lunch for a twisted tea, or a night cap for double tequila, Mecca always has taken care of me. They truly live up to their mantra as having the coldest beer in town. A lot of places in my town of West Sacramento are cool and fun but they feel corporate. Mecca could never do that. There is no kitchen which make it a true dive bar. It feels like the original bar from when it first open. That's the character newer bars in the area are lacking. This place used to be a bit rougher but a while back the new ownership and management did away with that and the people who bring that in making it a lot more chill for everyone. They've got a pool table and shuffle board here. Great bar games to play 1v1 or to or team up with a friend and beat another team for some bragging rights and a round. The owner here, Mike, is really cool and has the hair of a 20 year old Steve Perry with a goatee. "Coldest beer in town" it's a lifestyle.“
