“Just a real nice , low key, comfortable place to get a bite. Friendly attentive staff ,and my pastrami sandwich was so delicious and they have some magical secret spice combo they use on their fries that just rocks ! I love older buildings in little towns so much character and it just adds to a fun dining experience without being pretentious.Kid-friendliness: So many fun items for children to entertain themselves with at your table“

“Great bar. Bartenders are nice don't get me wrong the only thing is they should at least acknowledge you when you're waiting and let you know that they will be right with you. Order 2 drinks it was $28. Kinda pricey to me. Would I come back again. Yes but not every weekend since the drinks are expensive. Great place to hangout thou. Almost forgot. They could use some better music too cuz I started falling asleep in there cuz of the music.“

Burger

“Wherever I'm craving a burger, Tommy J's(Froggys) is the first place that comes to mind. This has been my go-to burger place for the past few years. Where friends and family visit, they insist we go here for at least one of our meals. The burgers are hefty at 1/2 a pound. What a love about this place is that they always cook your burger exactly how you want it. I like my burgers medium rare and whenever I go to other burger joints around Davis, they always overcook it. My favorite is the Southern Cali because it has bacon and avocado. What else could a person want? You can get tots, fries or a salad with your order... in the summer they offer watermelon as a side. If you're feeling fancy you can get speciality fries as a side with an up charge. It's a very causal place with a dive bar feel. You order at the counter and they'll bring your food out to your table. You can also order online which I love, my husband will usually DD our orders when we want a relaxing night in.“

“Food is super good and the mimosa carafes were tasty and affordable! That being said, it can be hard to find seating because it's a smaller space and the staff at the bar were rude when we went. We would still go back for the food, but they should be more considerate of people who haven't been there before and don't understand which counter to order at and how the line works.“

Everything we had was really good but my favorite thing was the pretzel and cheese bites which they got rid of! WHY??? Cheese Curds were a favorite for the whole fam. People/servers nice, love the indoor and outdoor seating options.“

“I like sitting outside, when the weather is warm and good. I went here several times, 2-3 occasions for beer or drinks daytime, 2-3 lunches, and one dinner. You can enjoy their drinks like draft beer or soda on the table outside between lunch and dinner time or on weekdays, as they are less busy. And they get you free chips and salsa. You can spend some great relaxing time, whle they dont offer happy hours. For lunch on weekends, their services can get slow, as I do not think they have enough number of employees/servers... you need to be patient sometimes.... bills for your lunch can be full $18-20 w/o tips, which is new normal these days. Their food quality is good enough to enjoy, not the highest quality, though. Overall, great place to visit for some decent Mexican food and some cold beer at the patio outside.“

“Cool spot, friendly, knowledgeable service, and good wine selection. Was going to just pick up a bottle of wine to go, but ended up sitting next a friendly patron at the bar, chatting and getting a glass of the Zinfandel blend from Lodi and then a 20-year tawny Port, both of which were really good. They have some seating inside and out. Definitely recommend.“

“Location is right inside pass the Quality Inn. Lots of parking. They had a live band at 9pm on a Friday night and the place definitely filled up. We were a group that hung out I'm the pool table area which had a jukebox and 3 pool tables. We ordered the food upfront and food and drinks were brought to us in a timely manner. Note the salad is huge huge huge! Hubby and I split it and our to go container was still pretty full. The tater skins were super delicious as well. Happy hour is until 7pm and we just made it after so didn't get to take advantage of that. Overall great food I'm a hidden place!“

“Nice spot in Davis for a Beer especially if it's nice outside. What made me go to this place was the parklet outside and the beautiful seating when Davis is not scorching hot or flooding rain. The bartender was nice and I went during happy hour and got the Mangonada Margarita which tasted pretty good, but not too strong. There was a special beer flight which is 3 beers with 3 girls scout cookies! I'll be getting that next time.“

“As always, the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was very flavorful. I was looking forward to the Nicoise salad with the tofu steak, which I had had last time, but alas, it was no longer on the menu. But I ordered the Fattoush and added the tofu steak and it was delicious. While the wine menu for glasses only is a bit limited, we did enjoy the wine we ordered. Thank you!“

Judy's Wild Wrangler Saloon Bar • $
4823 Midway Rd, Vacaville - 7 miles

“Judy's Wild Wrangler Saloon is a true gem nestled beyond the city bustle, exuding the authentic spirit of an old honky-tonk bar. Stepping inside feels like a journey back to the days my grandfather vividly recounted. This place is a sanctuary where the heart of country music thrives, away from the glitz and glamor, inviting those seeking genuine moments over selfies and trendy drinks. As the lyrics perfectly encapsulate, it's "out in the country past the city limits sign," where this honky-tonk near the county line comes alive. The atmosphere ignites as the sun dips, welcoming a vibrant mix of whiskey, women, music, and that characteristic haze of smoke. It's the hub where cowboy folk gather for the boot-scootin' boogie, preserving the essence of a bygone era. Judy's is where hardworking souls, just like myself, find solace after a day's toil. When the clock strikes quitting time, there's an unspoken pull to this haven. The lyrics resonate--firing up the pickup truck, feeling the freedom on that highway, racing toward that hideaway nestled among the woods. It's where the boot-scootin' boogie thrives, where stories unravel, and where memories are etched into the very fabric of this time-honored establishment. Judy's Wild Wrangler Saloon isn't just a bar; it's a living, breathing testament to authenticity, embodying the roots of country music and the cowboy way of life. If you're yearning for a genuine honky-tonk experience, look no further--Judy's is the place where tradition meets the timeless allure of the boot-scootin' boogie. So come on down to this honky tonk. You buy me a shot of whiskey and I'll buy you a beer!“

“Not much of the Thai food fan and that's not the only reason why I'm giving it a four star. My meal included noodles and they were stuck or clumped together. I had to eat around the middle. It was a busy night like usual but please give it a shot and don't let my four stars concern you. It just was an experience that I had.Vegetarian options: We went with a vegetarian and I ordered the same meal. In fact the four of us ordered the same meal. It just happened that I got the plate with undercooked noodles.Dietary restrictions: The menu is plentiful with options for any type of dietary needs or restrictions.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessibility in the front and the rear of the business. There is a parking lot behind the business that faces D Street. I would use C Street where it's located for better wheelchair accessibility.“
