“This place is our go to since moving to the area 3 years ago. I feel confident in saying that this place is great and I recommend it. It is only to go, no dining in. The service is always super friendly and fast. The portions are large! Favorites are the orange chicken, tomato beef chow mein, honey walnut shrimp, house fried rice and brocolli beef. Yum yum! I love supporting this kind and yummy family business. It also feels very clean and the food is good quality.“

“The food was good I enjoyed most items. I did do take out and however the meat itself was dry and bland and the raw cuts were re almost absent. I took a photo for reference. I regardless of the meat the broth was probably some of the best broth I have ever had! The pho was great and so was the cold noodles. The combo platter was okay.“

“I went with my friend to Teriyaki Madness and it was very good they never seem to disappoint me with their food and how they prep their food as well .
I enjoyed the atmosphere in there as well there was a dog that came in with their owner on the leash and the dog caused no disturbance at all.

“My wife and I arrived at 20min before closing and we were worried that they would be seat us because it was so close to their closing. Got seated immediately and ordered very quickly. Food came out after about 10 min and we didn’t feel any pressure that they were forcing us to finish before their closing time. Pleasantly surprised by this place because we’ve always driven by it but didn’t expect it to have such a nice atmosphere and the food was very good. 10/10 would come back“

“I really enjoyed the dumplings from Uncle Dumplings! They were so good and full of flavor. The dumplings were juicy, soft, and literally burst in your mouth with every bite. 😋🥟 You can really taste that they’re freshly made, and I enjoyed every bite.

The restaurant is a little bit small, but overall the food is great and definitely worth trying. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend! 🥟❤“

“Amazing pho and I appreciate that they take a student discount for Sacramento State students. My friend and I used to go to other pho places that would be very busy and would forget requests that we would have, but this location would be very attentive and remember if we had asked for more water, limes, etc. I love the calm vibe and it is so relaxing after a long day at work.“

It’s super consistent, and honestly, sometimes you just need a massive bowl of comfort food without the fancy price tag. I really dig that they have options from all over the place—from Wisconsin Mac & Cheese to Pad Thai—so it’s perfect if your group can’t decide on what to eat. The staff is always pretty fast, and the place is clean and chill. Not trying to change the world, but it hits the spot every single time!“

“My wife and I used to work nearby several years ago and ate here at least twice a week. We were driving past recently and decided to stop in with our son and grandma, both of whom had never been there. We ordered my wife's favorite and a chicken dish for my mother-in-law and 69A for me and 69B for our son. The food was fantastic as always, but the Flaming Beef And Shrimp was spectacular with the presentation and my son thoroughly enjoyed making his own spring rolls. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted great. We will definitely be returning soon!“

We shared the broccoli beef, chicken fried rice, and chicken egg drop soup.

The broccoli beef was phenomenal! In addition to the broccoli, we noticed bok choy, carrots, baby corn, and onion in the mix, which all perfectly complimented the dish. The sauce was delicious.

The chicken fried rice was really good - a pretty basic dish, but we enjoyed it a lot. Some places use vegetables cut larger than I like, but these were a good size.

The soup was also really good. My only issue was there was a LOT of tofu, which I can't eat much of due to a minor allergy, but I was able to just pick the pieces out. The broth itself was amazing.“

“Super delicious and authentic. Taste the broth before you add anything, it's so good!! I came here only once but planning to come again once this pandemic is over with. My daughter at the time stuck her hand in the hot Phó and the worker saw and put her hand in ice water very quickly and apologized. It wasn't even his fault 😭 I wasn't paying attention. But maybe because he placed the bowl in reach of her? Idk but he brought us more water and made sure my baby was okay. The workers are friendly and the food is really great. Also, the Thai tea is delicious.

Update: I'm a Folsom local now and come here a few times a month for the Thai tea! It's so good! My kids and I also get Pho once in a while and it's still delicious!“

“Best Chinese food in Sac by far! I used to think Fats in Roseville was the best around here but this restaurant proved me wrong. The food was very flavorful, balanced, traditional and overall just delicious. My girlfriend and I ordered chow mein (amazing!) orange chicken (amazing!) and honey walnut shrimp. If anyone likes honey walnut shrimp as much as I do, make sure to DEFINITELY try it here. You won’t regret it!!“

“BOMB! I could only be happier if I could eat more in 1 sitting. On a Sunday afternoon, it was practically empty. I had the pork and veggie ($11 and easily the best) as well as pork and crab ($15) and it was very filling. 3 sauces are on every table: chili crisp, a sweet soy blend, and a sour vinegar based soy blend. I mixed all 3 in the provided dish and loved having every flavor component without any being overpowering. They come out piping hot from the kitchen w a glass wall so you could watch em brewing made if you want. The service counter has 1 register, but if there's a love, they have a kiosk right next to it that can be used to order and pay too. Water is free from a dispenser by the register. And there's a to go station if you eat there and want to take part home, complete w containers, utensils, sauce and sauce cups w lids, and bags. There's light spa music playing which feels very zen. The mural goes great w the red and wood decor. The staff was nice and service was very fast. Their storage shelving is covered w linens bearing their logos, and the 1 person bathroom is clean and made to smell nice. If I'm ever passing thru, I'll be stopping here for sure!“

“I decided to try this restaurant after indoor go karting & I was impressed. Now years later while on our way home & hungry my family wanted Vietnamese food. I'm happy to find that not only has the restaurant improved their decor but the food has also stayed consistently great! We've stopped in for a family dinner several times & we are never disappointed. Every dish we have tried was delicious! For a family of 5 the price is reasonable. I highly recommend Pho Bac Hoa Viet for the food, atmosphere, & even for it being right off hwy 50. We'll definitely be going back.“
