Very hole in the wall parking lot. Entrees are around $25 but the food is great. Definitely worth a try because the food is genuinely a tier above the rest.
We discovered this restaurant last February 2025, and after that me and partner became a regular customer, to the point that even the server knows what we will order without asking😂 I love the hospitality and the service on this restaurant, the food is superb! everything taste authentic! must visit!!!💗
Food is amazing!!! I was really craving gopchang and they had it! I was expecting to grill it myself but it's already prepared for you. Still very delicious and worth the price!!! The portions are hefty! My partner and I got full just after round 1 because of the portions they gave us. Definitely will be returning again :)

Based on the reviews, JJ Korean BBQ is a must-visit spot in Sacramento, almost feeling like a hole-in-the-wall Korean BBQ place. The food is amazing, with authentic traditional flavors and excellent care for the ingredients. The portions are huge and hefty from the get-go, with an excellent variety of Korean delectable dishes. The marinated meats come out fresh and unfrozen, while the unmarinated meats are frozen to cut thin slices consistently, using quality meats like incredibly beefy brisket and clean pork belly. The jja jang myun (or Jajangmyun) is the best in Sacramento, with a perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet, chewy noodles, and a lighter sauce. The service is quick, friendly, and accommodating, with servers checking in often. The seating area is spacious, clean, and casual. While the location can seem sketchy at night, the quality matches the higher price. A great treat for real foodies craving solid Korean Chinese comfort dishes.
