“We came around noon on Mother’s Day, and the restaurant was absolutely packed — lots of people waiting for tables. It’s the kind of place with dim sum carts plus an à la carte menu, and the carts actually came around pretty often.
Getting attention for menu orders was another story though. We basically had to keep looking around and wave at the right moment to get noticed. To be fair, they were probably just overwhelmed that day — the servers were literally running while taking orders.
The dim sum was decent overall. The Chinese broccoli looked ridiculously thick but surprisingly wasn’t tough at all. The chow fun was very oily and could’ve used a bit more soy sauce, but I liked that the noodles were extra wide.
If you happen to pass by and there’s no wait, it’s worth stopping in again.“

“There is almost ALWAYS a line, they became Tic Tok famous! Good for them because it’s worth it! My usual order is “Crispy Shrimp Balls, Shrimp Dumpling, Pork Dumpling, shumai (spelling wrong)
I make it a point to share and pass along!“

“I’m pretty sure the fish here went to culinary school before ending up on my plate. Everything tasted like it had a plan. Even the lemon wedge felt intentional. At some point I stopped eating and started negotiating with myself about ordering more. If seafood had a personality, this place figured it out.“

“I’ve had authentic Chinese food and grew up in a very prominently asian area. I know what good Chinese food is supposed to taste like and Sacramento has been overall disappointing with the Chinese food I’ve encountered. A friend told me to come here and I’m so glad she did because WOW!!! I haven’t had this deliciously authentic tasting Chinese food in AGES!!! Like, do you even understand how hard it is so have CRISPY orange chicken without overcooking the chicken inside???
And the portions were shockingly enormous which is saying something since family style Chinese food is always generous servings. I’ve paid way more for way less.
Overall the food was incredible and this is officially my new favorite Chinese place. My only qualm was they didn’t give us any fortune cookies ;_;.“

“The dim sum is delicious and there are many varieties of dim sum. The service is also very good and the manager and waiters are very friendly too. The place is very big, it should be good to have a party~“

“My family and I had a great experience at Red Chopstix! We ordered Fried Rice, Chow Mein, Beef and Broccoli, Orange Chicken, and Honey Walnut Shrimp, and everything was delicious. Even the leftovers tasted good, the next day. Plus, the staff was friendly and super accommodating with my 1 year old. I will definitely be back to this amazing place!“
