“When we first moved to Folsom, we joined a couple close-by wine clubs for convenience. We happened upon Bogle a couple years ago and just had to join despite a little longer drive. Aside from a huge selection of wines for every taste, they have great parties and are always welcoming.“

Carvalho Family Winery Winery •
the Old Welding Shop, OLD SUGAR MILL In, 35265 Willow Ave Suite 603, Clarksburg

“Me and the family did the Barrel to Bottle and it was the most amazing experience ever! Later, at home, we did a blind taste!

Their wines are so amazing. If you are wine drinker, try the Picnic Blanc, freaking good.
As for the red drinkers, their Spring Red, Petite Syrah and Bootleg Red.

Amazing service! The owner and winemaker will fill your mind with a lot of knowledge.

Go and try for yourself!

They are in way back of the sugar mill!“

Kirchhoff Family Wines - Tasting Room Winery •
35265 Willow Ave, Clarksburg

“I just discovered, if you plant old Kirchhoff corks along side Basil, a new bottle will grow and be completely unaffected by any heat or light damage. The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon was in my last wine club shipment, and it pairs with my Friday night. Thank you, so lovely.
By the way folks, that’s how you cut off a wax seal. Call if you need help.“

Heringer Estates Winery Wineries • $$
37375 Netherlands Rd, Clarksburg

“We hosted our wedding reception at Heringer's and it was PERFECT. They worked with us so we could have our July wedding in the morning and have brunch. We were in Marjorie's Garden and I got so many compliments on the venue! It was absolutely GORGEOUS! We really didn't have to do much when it came to decor at all. They set up all the tables and chairs too, which was such a blessing.

However, an additional shout out goes to the Heringer crew with a special shout out to Alex and his parents for bringing a metal detector to try and find the groom's ring. Above and beyond!

I will be recommending this venue whenever anyone asks!“

Draconis Wine Tasting Wine Bar •
35265 Willow Ave, Clarksburg

“We visited Draconis for a wine tasting on a Friday and had a very enjoyable experience overall. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and upbeat, which made the visit even more pleasant.

The Petite Sirah wines were absolutely delicious, and we ended up purchasing several bottles. We also appreciated that we were not charged for the tasting.

The only disappointment was that, as Zinfandel fans, we were hoping to taste their Zinfandel before buying. Unfortunately, we learned that it is only available for tasting on weekends. Since tastings are often what help customers decide what to purchase, it was a bit frustrating to have to consider buying a bottle without first trying it.

That said, the quality of the wines we did taste and the excellent hospitality made for a very positive experience. We'd definitely consider returning—hopefully on a weekend next time so we can finally try the Zinfandel!“
