We were in drive thru line for nearly 5 minutes before it moved up one car We were able to get out of drive thru line and parked and went inside to orderI ordered their new Birria Ramen with beef. It was a little more spicy then what I expected.Kid-friendliness: That Del Taco has a Nice Play area but has been completely closed since Covid season. My Grandkids used to love playing in there!
I have noticed that the late night food is getting better. Something changed. Someone noticed that there was a problem at this location.I no longer hear the excuse that the grill is dirty. Someone is cleaning and making fresh food again. I appreciate it. Keep it up and I might be back, and bring my friends for breakfast.

For being the only del taco in Elk Grove, this location can do better. High turnover rate of employees, always understaffed, food is room temperature or maybe a little warm, special directions for making food (ie: extra sauce, no lettuce, etc) are NEVER followed. The kids play area has been shut down for literal YEARS. Drive thru takes forever. Not very friendly staff…they all seem to hate their job even with the wage increase! I only go here when I’m completely hungry on...read full review
