“Visited Porto’s Bakery for the first time when in West Covina (reside in Washington). We went on Easter morning expecting it to be super busy. To our luck it was busy, but no line! We got there at 10am and it was raining so we lucked out. They had several staff drying the floor and directing traffic to enserie everyone’s safety avoiding slips. They have an amazing system in place to get customers to the right counter. Everything we tried was fresh and super tasty. We tried the Potato Balls, Cheese Rolls, Refugiado, Chicken Empanada, Torrejas, breakfast croissants, Pork Tamales and a few other pastries along with lattes, guava lemonade & hot chocolate. We went all out! There was not one item that we bought that was bad or that we wouldn’t buy again. I was able to buy several items to bring back home. So we had a wonderful breakfast there and had several pastries and goodies to bring home.”

“Best Cream cheese foam I've ever had! As a coffee drinker, I always look for boba cafes that has coffee milk tea, but they have a genuine coffee what is so good to me. Also, their teas are specially and freshly brewed anytime, that aroma soothes me when I come across their making teas.Customer service is excellent too, and you'll never fail to take picture of your drink with their seasonal decorations. Inside is always clean and restroom is accessible easily too. :)”

“Came to try this out with my 3 kids and it was incredible. The grilled cheese was on point, and my kids devoured it. I asked for a recommendation for a not so sweet ice i coffee and the barista told me to try a caramel ice coffee. REALLY good! Also got some chocolate cake for desert. I'll be back to try every item on the menu lol. Also, I found a new life hack (if I'm late, I'm sorry). Bringing toddlers to the mall before the stores open is not only free, but the toddlers can explore all the shops without causing a ruckus!”

The Banana Caramel Pancskes were incredible, the eggs were to my liking, and the hash browns might just have been the best I've ever had. The waitress was courteous and very accommodating. Denny's probably won't ever win the Architectural Digest award for exceptional interior design, but this franchise pairs great food with great service. Couldn't ask for more!Vegetarian options: You can ask them to hold the meat on almost any dish. “Nautical Dive turned into a legit whiskey bar.Had my first taste of Eagle Rare, which did not disappoint. You could drink a beer comfortably on the bar or tables, but this is a local whiskey joint. Fully stocked bar below, but middle and upper shelves are dedicated to bourbon, Scotch, Irish and Japanese labels. Not a cocktail drinker, but the bartenders look line they know what they're doing.”

I've been here twice and have tried the fresh shrimp and tofu spring rolls with terrific accompanying sauce, flavorful chicken fried rice, shrimp pho with delicious broth, and the lovely Lychee fruit tea! Yum! Totally coming here again... and bringing more friends. Mangosteen has a clean, modern atmosphere, primarily indoors with a couple of outdoor tables. Friendly and helpful customer service.”

“The food is amazing for a very reasonable price, but I think the service differs depending on who's working. The first time I came with my Latina friend and the staff person also appeared to be Latina (she was speaking Spanish to some other customers while we were there); she noticeably treated my friend preferentially and was short with me when I asked questions about the menu and how to order since it was my first time, which ended up making me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Then when I tried to pay, my payment failed the first time so she told me to insert my card again, but she "helped" by tapping on the screen for me and selecting the highest tip for herself without giving me a choice. I told her that wasn't the tip option I wanted to select but she gave me a dirty look and told me I couldn't go back, so I just had to pay the amount she selected or risk making a big fuss. Then she didn't offer me a receipt, which I think is just bad service considering she overcharged me, but maybe it's because she didn't want me to find out her name (since the server name is usually printed on your receipt). When our food came out, my friend's meal was neatly packaged so that she could take it to go, but my poke bowl didn't have a lid on it even though I was also taking it to go, and I had to ask for one, which she also treated like I was being an inconvenience. It was a really off-putting experience.My second time here, I came back with a different friend and ordered the exact same thing because the food quality was great, it was just the service that sucked, so I figured I'd give the place a second chance. Thankfully my second time was a lot better. The server (Michelle, based on my receipt) was very sweet and I didn't experience any problems. So I will probably keep eating here in the future, but I would not like to encounter the rude staff person from my first time again.”

“They have a large menu to choose from.I tried the Huevos Rancheros. And ordered a menudo. Honestly, the menudo had no flavor. My Grandson took one bite and was done. The huevos rancheros was a disappointment as well. No sauce on top of the eggs. There was only diced tomatoes. Also the beans & rice were cold!!”

However, it's worth mentioning that the owner can be a bit stingy with the salsa, so keep that in mind when ordering. “Not sure why I didn’t stop by sooner. I live in the area and about after a year i decided to go the other night. We got the fried dumplings, seafood soup, drunken noodle with shrimp, pad see-ew with chicken and to drink we got Thai iced teas. Everything was delicious, the soup had lots of seafood and good flavor, the drunken noodle had lots of Thai basil. I ended up getting a Thai tea to go. Definitely will be coming back or ordering for pick up.”

“This is probably my favorite AYCE sushi restaurant in the entire SGV. I've been coming here for years, and the place is always on point. Big portions per roll. The fish is fresh and really good. I'm not really an imitation crab guy but they have plenty of rolls that don't have that and plenty that do if you are into that. One roll I highly recommend is the Kardashian Roll if you like spicy tuna like me. Also if you like to have a good time like me ask for the giant bottle of kikusui sake. Lol.”

“Lan Noodle is for sure the best noodle place I have tried so far. The noodles are fresh and handmade. It is done before your eyes from the scratch. They have different shapes of noodles from thick round to thin round to thinnest round to angel hair to wide flat, thin wide,chives flat or triangle noodle. So when you order your soup, be ready to choose your favorite noodle. Overall,The restaurant is very clean. There are plenty of parking spots, so there is no problem at all. The service was outstanding.Shout out to Clara who was our hostess. She explained the menu thoroughly. she also came to our table several times to check on us and to change the water carafe before we asked. The menu was very tempting , so we ordered many delicious dishes. Our meal was as follows; -Pork pan fried; it was absolutely one of the top pork pan fried I have ever tried.It was very juicy and flavorful. It is a must try one. -Kelp and Smashed cucumber. Both of them was really irresistible -Chicken Gizzards. It is not a very simple dish as you imagine. The taste was incredible, juicy and tender. -Veggie noodle soup which has mushrooms, silken tofu& bok choy with moderate spice. The amount was humongous. I chose the wide flat noodles. My goodness! The fresh noodles with the vegetables and some cilantro on the top with a light kick from the spice complement the soup.It was heavenly delicious! My daughter got their famous beef Lan noodles and she enjoyed it too. We also order beef Chinese burger to go. It was very tasty and flavorful. This one of the BEST noodle place, specially their comfort and savory food. It is a great place to try and hangout with friends or family and enjoy every single bite of their dishes.”

I was super surprised to see that each of the familiar items are all the same size as what we're used to. The flavor is outstanding and super authentic! According to the owners the chief was already a sim sum chef back in Hong Kong. We ordered for 2 and it came out to be about $40 ish. Well worth the money especially when everyone else is super expensive. There's only 1 small table outside so don't expect to be able to occupy it. I usually order ahead and the food takes a few minutes until they bring out to your car. The staff tends to get orders right 95% of the time. This is a nice little restaurant where everybody seated appeared to know each other based on the conversations i was hearing. I was impressed with the large amount of choices on the menu. I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito. After a few minutes, the server returned to tell me she was sorry, but they ran out of large tortillas, so i just ordered a chorizo plate. To my surprise, when she brought out my order, it was a very big chorizo breakfast burrito. The cook improvised and constructed a burrito using small taco sized flour tortillas! It was a work of art! It tasted great and i almost couldnt finish it because of the size. Great service and i will become a regular!”

Service is excellent and trust his recommendations. We ordered the Es Kelapa Muda which my friend loved. The appetizer Rissoles were very tasty with chicken inside. We did family style with order of Ayam Kremesan-super delicious and a whole chicken is enough to split between 3-4 people when ordered in combination of Nasi Goreng Jawa and Nasi Bungkus. Everything was full of flavor and we asked for no spicy and it was still super flavorful. I've had Indonesian food before in Alhambra and my friend had it in Amsterdam and we both agreed this place far exceeded those places. Highly recommend this place!”

This is not only a great sales strategy, this is a really great place to shop and be confident that your child will find a toy they absolutely love. In addition, the board game section is large and very well stocked. They have games I haven't even seen at other Target in the area. They also have a large selection dedicated to Pokémon. We found a section where they offer discounted dvds for 4 to 5 dollars. This is my favorite Target in the area and I will be coming back here for board games and Pokémon!”

Service was fast and friendly. Menu is sadly limited. They don't sell grilled chicken. It's fried chicken, fries, sandwiches and sides. Don't know what to order so had a classic sandwich with fries and drink combo. Really inexpensive. May consider the pot pie next time. There's drive through. They started putting Kentucky Fried Chicken on their packaging for old school throwback. Like it. Wasn't necessarily finger licking good but it sufficed for a lunch. If you're craving fried chicken, this works.”

This is a nice little restaurant where everybody seated appeared to know each other based on the conversations i was hearing. I was impressed with the large amount of choices on the menu. I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito. After a few minutes, the server returned to tell me she was sorry, but they ran out of large tortillas, so i just ordered a chorizo plate. To my surprise, when she brought out my order, it was a very big chorizo breakfast burrito. The cook improvised and constructed a burrito using small taco sized flour tortillas! It was a work of art! It tasted great and i almost couldnt finish it because of the size. Great service and i will become a regular!”

“Visited Porto’s Bakery for the first time when in West Covina (reside in Washington). We went on Easter morning expecting it to be super busy. To our luck it was busy, but no line! We got there at 10am and it was raining so we lucked out. They had several staff drying the floor and directing traffic to enserie everyone’s safety avoiding slips. They have an amazing system in place to get customers to the right counter. Everything we tried was fresh and super tasty. We tried the Potato Balls, Cheese Rolls, Refugiado, Chicken Empanada, Torrejas, breakfast croissants, Pork Tamales and a few other pastries along with lattes, guava lemonade & hot chocolate. We went all out! There was not one item that we bought that was bad or that we wouldn’t buy again. I was able to buy several items to bring back home. So we had a wonderful breakfast there and had several pastries and goodies to bring home.”

I didn't mind waiting in the regular line. They have four cashiers that take the next customer, this really helped move the line along. I simply placed some muffins and biscottis on the counter, and selected two cakes. The first was a 10" round Lemon cake, the second was a rectangular Cheesecake. It was not easy to narrow it down to these two when Red Velvet, Chocolate, Tiramisu, and Strawberry Cream was available.
