“went to sushi park for the first time. Food was unbelievably delicious and fresh. They ask you if you have any dietary restrictions and then they bring out plates of food with three bites on each plate until you say you are finished. I think the minimum is about seven plates. be prepared to spend $200 a person but it's well worth it if you're looking for delicious fresh sushi. You may not be able to go anywhere else afterwards. Service was very efficient as well. It's a tiny place so you must make reservations. also, we were sitting two tables away from Kendall Jenner, which probably tells you the sushi must be incredible if she chose to go there since she could probably go anywhere she wanted“

“First time visiting Ocean Sushi, I had the “Sensual Pressure Roll” and “Salmon Handroll” , The salmon, and spicy bay scallop which melted in your mouth. The rice was just perfect on all of the pieces, not overly moist, yet firm and unadulterated. The spicy tuna were mild spicy and fragrant, the fresh salmon tasted better than anything I've had.The blue crab baked hand roll had all the flavors and real non-imitation crab was something very unique and worth a try.And new menu called, “Caribbean Roll” were above average, fresh albacore sashimi with spicy tuna and my favorite crispy onion; with house sauce and garnish that added more texture and flavor.Lastly the toro sushi seems basic, but they prove how good they are, melt and fresh. they made a something basic into something extravagant. All the servers are welcoming and friendly. This restaurant will become most popular place in weho! I definitely coming back soon.“

“Very delicious sushi spot that just blends in with majority of the closed shops near it, especially since the entrance was roped off as if it was actually closed, from the outside. If you’re looking for a kikkoman soy sauce spot, this isn’t for you.Ordered two carpaccios, one with fresh wasabi and ponzu, can’t remember the fish, and another carpaccio, think either halibut or albacore, that had yuzu juice and mushroom and those two dishes were phenomenal. Every bite was simply amazing and irresistible. Great fish quality, not a single piece was questionable in appearance, texture, taste; the quality was delicious. The assorted tempura was crunchy, the batter didn’t disintegrate when you dipped it and didn’t break up when you were biting it. A delicious batter that kept its integrity and highlighted the beauty of each ingredient being used. Loved having a tempura mushroom and the white fish was a unique and different touch. The nigiri- where the begin. All of it was delicious. For a party of two, we each walked away with eating $190 each which is a lot for how much we ordered truthfully but because the quality of the food was better that majority of the places we had, it was worth it and can’t wait to go back. No alcohol either. It was a treat to eat here and treat ourselves. The most delectable and fragile scallops that just melt in your mouth, the albacore was a dance in your mouth as well as anything else that had a drop of yuzu on it. Ended my experience with uni and it was pure velvet. The most underwhelming item I ate was a spicy tuna since I was genuinely curious but I wouldn’t order that again and just stick with nigiri. Each nigiri order is 1 piece and sashimi is 2 pieces. Thank you Jinpachi for a cozy atmosphere and a delicious treat- can’t wait for more!“

“Had strong expectations for Uchi after a wonderful dining experience in Austin, ended up being blown away by the incredible experience and food at the West Hollywood location! Came to celebrate with a friend without a reservation, Raul and Alex and the team at the bar treated us to such an incredible experience that made the evening truly special. It was clear from the menu recommendations to the delivery that the team is incredibly well versed and passionate. Each bite was so delicious and the team helped guide us through the very well constructed meal. We enjoyed the pork jowel toro, hama chili, hotate no tataki, shishito, and hiramasa - each unique and high quality. The banana cake and jasmine cream desserts were different and complementary finishers to the meal, both incredible. Each moment from arrival to leaving felt special and thought through. Amazing overall experience at Uchi, big shout out to Raul and Alex at the bar. Will certainly return!“

“What a great dining experience! Family owned and you can feel the love and pride of ownership in each dish. We tried many things including gyoza, salmon skin roll, hamachi, mushroom miso soup (extra yum). Everything was good and the family were so nice. This is a traditional style Japanese restaurant so don’t come in asking for nobu style service. Learn the traditions and respect the service , then you will truly appreciate the dishes.“

“They have been here forever. And there is a reason for that - some of the freshest sushi you can find. The owners are lovely people. And they cut no corners - if the fish they find that day isn't up to their standards they simply won't put it on the menu. You never know what kind of fish they may have on any one day.I go twice a week sometimes. All their cooked food is fantastic as well.Awesome all the way around.“

“Underrated small Japanese restaurant in a prime location. How could we be one of two tables during lunch hour?We enjoyed an excellently prepared selection of nigiris. The chef even included their special of whole edible crabs. The woman who served us was so thoughtful, to the point when I told my son to be careful of the hot soup, she said she added ice cubes to make it the perfect sippable temperature. I love this kind of care.“

“10/10! I came here for a solo dinner on a weekday night. The servers were extremely attentive and friendly and made some great menu recommendations. The food came out quickly. I got the three item bento box, which was absolutely delicious and a great value, especially for the neighborhood. Definitely a hidden gem in West Hollywood - the neighborhood needs more of these types of local, friendly spots with amazing food and great prices. I can't wait to come back!“
