“Breakfast and lunch. The food was delicious, the ambience was cozy and service excellent. My party of 3 all agreed the music was too loud. We asked for it to be lowered a bit and they complied. A happy customer always returns. Looking forward to the next brunch.“

“We were in the Gables and decided to try this Australin twist for breakfast. Location is on Goralda by many restaurants. Plenty of seating outside. Wife had a almond milk coffee. Coffe was excellent. Think it was an African brew. IDaughter had a lamb burger with ske liked. There supposedly known for the ? toast. Wife said it was good. I had a toast with lamb and an ? on top. It was good but was missing maybe a fruit marmalade or something. It was different and descent..Service was really good.“

“Such a charming creperie nestled in Coral Gables, this place absolutely knows crepe culinary. Had a wonderful Sunday morning brunch, as it was quiet and private. It has a delightful offering of both sweet and savory crepes, and I decided for the Philly Cheesesteak crepe. What flavors! Had my tastebuds going wild…will definitely be visiting again.Aesthetic is top notch, and the service was awesome. Very pocket-friendly.“

“What a great spot! Books & Books always has something going on: comedy night, spoken poetry events, and a plethora of other events. The cafe's food never disappoints either, and their happy hour deals are amazing! $5 wine and select apps, and plenty of seating both inside and outside at the patio/bar. Service is wonderful too; everyone is super attentive and kind. This is probably my favorite Books & Books location--the ambiance is unbeatable!“

“You must get the pancakes! The best, fluffiest, delicious pancakes I've ever had! Candy is also an amazing host, her hospitality is top notch! Everything we ordered was delicious. The big breakfast has an avocado toast with pickled onions, radish and micro greens -yum! The Kubano Flatbread is also a must! The dough is soft and fluffy, the cheese is cheesing and the salty pork with the contrast of the sweet plantains, omg! We also had the lattes and they're on point, definitely will be back! “Doral Graziano's.... This place is great!! The staff is outstanding!! The food is very, very good!! Then, u make ask, why not 5 stars... A waiter or waitress comes out to the restaurant area with 2 or 3 plates of food in there hands.... They walk around for 19 minutes looking for the right table/client, never seen something like it in my life. I hope management doesn't pay them "per mile" because if they do they would go broke. They have these "number devices" that don't work at all. Now, last time I looked we were in the 22nd century and things are digital and work BUT here they don't..... so may I humbly suggest.... A little stick/table flag -visible from a distance- with a number on top. This way; waiters walk hundreds of miles less, food actually gets to the right table the same day, and most of all you come off as being organized and knowing what your doing. BTW.... I love the place and will continue to go...AND whoever is contracting the managers and staff deserves a rise...really the staff make it worthwhile to go. Thank you“

“I've been to Cafe Demetrio multiple times and I genuinely believe it has some of the best coffee in Miami. The cappuccinos are delicious (they give you a little chocolate heart in the middle!) and the atmosphere is super darling. Their service is also really solid - the line can look intimidating if you get there around 9 when they open, but it moves quickly. I haven't tried any of their food yet, but my friend got a sandwich that she absolutely loved. I think my only complaint is that it isn't open earlier. Seriously worth a visit if you are in the Gables.“

“This place always gets your order right and the egg sandwiches slap! The orange juice is fresh squeezed, and their croqueta preparadas really hit the spot. The inside is small but it's a perfect spot for a low-key breakfast. Service is great and wait times are very short. 10/10!“

“My wife and I work in the area and we come here for lunch all the time. We love the fact that it’s family owned and they have a level of customer service that you just don’t see in Miami. It’s also VERY affordable when you compare it to nearby restaurants. The food has that home cooked feel. If I could give more stars I would.“

Nestled on the DOUGLAS ROAD side of the building (see photos), you can hop up to the terrace (where there are outdoor dining tables) from the northern edge of 1 Alhambra Place. There is also an entrance from the lobby.Although most patrons seemed to be regulars, this newbie was treated like a long-lost friend. “Oui! D'accord! C'est Bon! It IS good. Really cool cafe with a twist in that it's got a large assortment of fresh vegetable juices/smoothies for those who are more health conscious than the more decadent baked in house treats. Imad, the manager greeted me with a hearty, hospitable greeting not usually encountered around these parts lol. Really cool location on the second floor of Merrick Park. Chicken Empanada coulda used a lil more seasoning. Very cool place well worth visiting!“
