Attentive- yes, but My pasta meal was too rich and I told him I couldn't eat it, but you would think they would take that off of our $1100 bill. Nope. Bread- $12 ARE YOU KIDDING, never in my 60+ years of fine restaurant dining have I ever been charged for bread brought to the table. I could go on, but I think I'll stop here.

Visited Fiola for a business lunch and had the burger with fries. I asked for it with out the bun, to save some calories for the fries! Excellent option. The rest of the table had salads and I'm happy I went with my gut and picked the burger.

The food while good was egregiously priced. $48 for penne à la vodka with no protein is unconscionable. $165 for veal Parmigiana is a joke. $64 for a dozen east coast oysters is laughable. I never thought I would look forward to paying carbone prices for good enough Italian food. To be fair, the service was excellent, and the ambience very nice. That said, We will wait for these guys to open sfoglina before patronizing their business again, and for now will continue to drive to Broward for proper Italian.

Plus ca change . . . Another great meal at Fiola last night. Either the critic (at the Infatuation) who said the place is inconsistent had exceptionally bad luck or I have been remarkably fortunate. I have dined at Fiola 12 times over the past three years, and I have never had a disappointing meal or experience. My dinners have ranged from excellent to mindblowing. My two visits this year were more in the latter category. My go to restaurant for special occasions in Miami.

We couldn't have gone to a better place to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was perfect, the food was delicious, the service impeccable. The cobia ceviche was perfection a mix of Peruvian and Mexican ceviche I would say. The branzino with farro and fennel was excellent. All in all we had a delightful lunch with excellent food and excellent service. Will definitely be back. Oh, the zabaglione with fruits really really good.

My friends and I like to attend to the finer restaurants in town every so often and since one of our friends is Italian we decided to try Fiola. To cut to the chase we were not impressed. I understand the fancier the establishment typically the smaller sized portions, however, Fiola takes this to the extreme with their petite serving sizes and insanely priced menu. There was also some misguided information with the priced items (and I understand there's miscommunications at times being as we're all human), but the service was very unwilling to discuss the matter further and said we should have been informed prior to the engagement. Was disappointing, however, the actual taste of the food was great. Definitely recommend the ceviche if you're able to afford this. We unfortunately will not be back and even decided to not host our work event here in the follow month.

Really love Fiola in my hometown of DC, couldn't wait to try this one in the Gables. It certainly did not disappoint. Beautiful ambience, attentive five star service and start to finish first rate food.
