“Great food, recommend trying Patates frittas, which is mushed potatoes in panco crust and fried, it comes with very rich truffle sause , probably a million calories but it's worth it. Lamb shanks and Cacio E Pepe were great too, also recommended. Ambiance is simple but cozy, with indoor and outdoor options.”

I don’t want to make it racial, but as the only person to lower their voice as the only black person in the restaurant, it felt very jarring to see everyone else speaking at a louder volume than I was and any it wasn’t a problem. “I cannot speak highly enough of Bouchon Bistro!! The food is some of the best I've ever had and is remarkably consistent; we always know we are going to have an excellent meal when go here. I have a gluten allergy, and the kitchen is great about accommodating my restrictions and making adjustments to my meal as needed. The drinks are amazing, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. The service is perfect every time we go. Everyone who works there is attentive and kind, but one server in particular, Alex, always goes above and beyond for us. I wholeheartedly recommend Bouchon Bistro for a special night out (or a great happy hour!).”

Finally, taking the time to write a long-time-coming review because they went above and beyond expectations, even beyond their usual excellent service. We were planning on hosting a wedding welcome cocktail outdoor at the brewery. The weather turned for the worse and Nick and Kelly quickly arranged for us to use Threefold Cafe instead. We were able to have a beautiful, intimate, private event at the cafe. The bride and groom could not have been happier and the out-of-town guests had an amazing time. The beer and wine selection was perfect. Food was delicious. Staff was attentive and warm. I could not recommend them more 10/10.”

We caught them at turnover and they couldn’t care less. We talked about hitting craft as a high point for our one night in Miami before cruising… and now we won’t bother going back to Bayside.”

“We had dinner in Dojo Izakaya and it was mindblowing!!! We recently visited Japan and this place revisits classic japanese authentic dishes in an incredibly creative way, truly worth it and we were amazed by the flavors and creativity in every dishes. It has become one of our favorite spots in Miami and we will be back for sure. Jonathan was our server and he was very kind, gave us good food recommendations and made everything for us to have a pleasant moment. We will come back for sure!”

“My husband found this little gem and we went for brunch on our first day in Coral Gables. We struck gold! Not only was our server, Monica, a treat but so was the food. We went with two of her recommendations. The il piu italiano avo toast and mega mushroom omelette…so good!! I went back the next morning because I really wanted to try the don’t be a (lemon) tart French toast…another hit. And my server, Rashad, was another gem! I enjoyed the food, atmosphere and workers at Threefold, and would highly recommend you check this place out.”

My mom prefers her salmon very well done, and although we hadn’t been specific, Ryan personally came to our table to apologize, which truly wasn’t necessary, not they’re fault at all. He handled it so kindly and professionally, made sure the salmon was cooked exactly how she liked it, and even checked back after she tried it. The care and attention really stood out. Highly recommend this restaurant, we will definitely be back when in the area.”

“An absolute hidden gem — we had an amazing experience from start to finish.

A special shoutout to Mrs. Tuta, who took care of us with outstanding service. Such a lovely person, and we discovered she studied in Montreux, Switzerland — a great connection for us as Swiss! She made the whole experience feel even more personal and memorable.

The food was excellent — everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully prepared.

The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a meal without noise or rush. You can really sit back and enjoy.

“We had an absolutely amazing dinner here. Unassuming, intimate restaurant that easily accommodated our party of five. I asked for the vegan box listed on the menu, but was told they did not have all the ingredients to make the usual dishes, so the chef Kevin created a menu just for me. He was so creative, inventive, and excited about every dish he brought out of the kitchen, and each one was more delicious than the last. I am technically pescatarian, so a few of the dishes had fish sauce, but he would have easily accommodated me with a vegan or vegetarian menu as well. It was honestly one of the most incredible dining experiences I have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Miami/ Coral Gables area.”

“I stop by the cafe here every now and then when I'm in the area, and always love the ambience, the food, and the fact that you can browse or buy a book or few (while supporting a family-owned local business).

I had lunch at the bar yesterday, and had a particularly great experience thanks to the bartender Gabriel, who not only provided me with exceptional service, but I watched while he handled what could have been a bad situation with grace and diplomacy beyond what I'm sure I would have been capable of.

A woman came in with a group that was stopping in the area part of a bus tour, and they were trying to get a quick bite. In spite of the woman clearly acting entitled and trying to push to get food out right away, he calmly explained that he didn't want to promise something he couldn't deliver and disappoint her, and that the cafe was full, it's a small kitchen, and the staff in back was already dealing with a 12+ long line of orders in process.

He offered her some solutions like grabbing dessert which was already made etc. but she clearly was just upset that she wasn't getting special treatment and having her unrealistic expectations met. I have no doubt that if he had responded in anything less than the impeccably professional manner that he did, she could have easily caused a ruckus, but instead she and her friends left without further issue once it was clear that it wasn't going to be feasible to get food out in their tight timeframe.”

We were greeted by Jose who offered us a shot of his new years lentil soup which was so flavorful! He has been there 13 years and with us being new to the area he had offered us sights to see and places to go. So sweet! We ordered the specialty breakfast sandwich with eggs, turkey, ham and cheese on a baguette and a strawberry banana smoothie. Both were very tasty! Before we left Jose offered us a shot of Columbian coffee, bold and good. Overall a wonderful experience and a must go to for anyone staying in the area!”

“We celebrated my Mother's 90th Birthday there tonite Feb 8..To start with Helen our server and event planner and Georgina the Chef and General Manager were amazing, thoughtful and took absolutely perfect care of us from planning to completion. The table, the appetizers, drinks, main course and lastly the heavenly Churros were all amazing,. All 26 guest at the table loved every little detail and the food was beyond our expectations. David, our server, started is off with a martini and a water melon based drink. The bar tender matched the perfect flavors. As summer gave us the option for Miami Spice we started with the tuna ceviche. Absolutely delicious, melt in your mouth. Since we do not eat meat, the Branzino was out go to. Perfect presentation cooked over a saffron risotto. Delicious. I also had the Noma salad, with baby green, all crisp freshy cut veggies was the perfect healthy addition. The views: perfect, the service: perfect, the food: perfect. All we wondered is why we were even able to get a table. All around experience was great and we will definitely be back to sample other items on the menu.”

“Verace is simply fantastic. Very affordable. Whether you are eating with friends, family, spouse, or by yourself. It is fantastic. They are accommodating, the food is great, pizza is perfect every time. I love the bolognese and they will substitute the rigatoni for fettuccine. A fav. The atmosphere is cute and quaint, but I would suggest to dim the lights during the dinner hour. The patio is lovely, I need to take advantage of it. Service is perfect. Highly recommend it! Run! Don’t walk to Verace.”

The food is phenomenal, the ambiance, service and attention to detail were on point; all and everyone of the dishes were delicious and beautiful works of art, not too many that make you feel stuffed but more than enough so you leave satisfied. We had such a special night and felt the love in every dish, we felt as we were invited to the chefs home for dinner.

“I love this place. There is such a calm atmosphere everytime I come (usually in the afternoon). They play soft and sweet music, not loud (unlike other cafes and spots nearby) so it creates an experience that keeps you coming back to relax and clear you your head with a nice latte. We started with the liquor-infused gelato from QUORE, which is truly unique and very well crafted — you can taste the quality in every flavor.

Then we moved on to the artisanal gelato from Gelato E Macchiato, all incredibly creamy, rich, and full of flavor. We also tried the sugar-free options, which were surprisingly good and didn’t compromise on taste at all.

To finish, we had an incredible coffee that was the perfect ending to the experience.

“The wait outside is obnoxious and unnecessary. This can easily be solved by adding a waitlist or anything for that matter. That being said, the food delivered. It was well balanced, and it brought back some joy after a difficult wait and a not so perfect service. We had a couple of plates. I suggest all of them but the duck. Well, I suggest the duck if you want to experience good taste but not to be full or feel like you had a full meal. The wine choice is crappy since they just started so I hope they get better.

Overall this is a good place to eat at. You have to jump through some hoops like waiting 1-2 hours. And about 30 mins above what they tell you the wait is. So you will feel frustrated by the time you walk through the door. Just look past that and wait for the food. And to be honest, what you come to a restaurant to do is to eat, so enjoy.”

Steak and eggs and drinks were crafted very well and super tasty. Corn flake matcha was amazing. Very easy to get to and plenty of seating. Price is fair and consistent with Miami pricing.
