The food tasted super fresh, the meat was tender, and the salsa verde had the perfect level of spice for my liking.
We discovered it’s a family-owned business, and we actually got to meet most of the family. The mom was the sweetest, she talked with us for a while and even gave us a flan on the house. “I had an amazing experience at Sala de Despecho in Brickell. The food was absolutely delicious, and the energy of the place is simply wonderful. The music really sets the mood — especially the heartbreak songs, which make the whole experience so fun and unique.

The service was excellent, especially from Ibrahim, who maintained a warm smile the entire time despite how busy it was. He took the time to explain the menu in detail and gave us great recommendations, which we truly appreciated.
