Still waiting for them to ask how everything is… we came through last year and had a totally different experience staff was super friendly and engaged even though the place was packed. We caught them at turnover and they couldn’t care less. We talked about hitting craft as a high point for our one night in Miami before cruising… and now we won’t bother going back to Bayside.“

“Went with some friends for Miami Spice and had SUCH a great experience. Our server April was an absolute sweetheart; so goodhumored, funny and attentive. She brought such a positive energy every time she came to check on our table, and had great referrals for us between the drinks and menus too. We LOVED all the appetizers: the chicharrones are SO good/addictive but the egg custard/onion soup fusion was a delightful surprise favorite for all of us. Our steaks were cooked to absolute PERFECTION 👌🏾 and while I was a fan of the chocolate tart, that carrot cake was a fantastic creation to enjoy. 100/10 Loved it!“

“Im so happily surprised with this visit! We haven't been in years. Last time we booked a reservation they cancelled it because the ac wasn't working. We truly walked in without any expectations. They asked if we were celebrating anything and we mentioned our daughters 7th bday. They set us up in a beautiful corner table in front of a window and had decorated the table with glitter stars and a happy birthday card just for her. Such an amazing and simple touch. Then the drinks came and they were beyond perfect. We also ordered the seafood tower, so fresh and full! Their salads were to die for and the porterhouse was outstanding! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service was up to par with the food: just perfect. We will definitely come back. It was truly an unforgettable experience.“

“We walked there in the evening and had a reservation which we booked about an hour before we arrived. The food and service were excellent, our waiter was very helpful and our drinks arrived quickly. It had a real feel of a french establishment and we started with a couple glasses of Sancerre. The flavor of the french onion soup was extremely well balanced and I highly recommend their pepper steak (au poivre) which is done with filet mignon. The cook on the steak was exactly what I asked for and you can tell the chef is precise and confident with all of the dishes. The atmosphere was pleasantly subdued, dim and had its own flair, you can tell the reason this place has been around so long is because they have a reputation for success. I think either the manager or the owner stopped by our table to check in on us as well, which we appreciated. We ordered their prawn special and my wife was thrilled with how it came out. I want to go back for some escargot and try their other dishes sometime.

I came here on a date with a man who’s now my husband and the father of my children. Now, years later, we bring our kids with us, and they absolutely love it too. It’s amazing that a place that was part of the beginning of our story is now somewhere we get to share with our family.

The food is always incredible. The sushi is consistently fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared, and we’ve never had a bad meal. But what truly makes Sakura stand out is the people. The staff has always been so kind, welcoming, and attentive, and after all these years they genuinely make you feel like family every time you walk through the door.

It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers the same outstanding food and service year after year, but Sakura has done exactly that.
