“well I'm going to start off by saying that they got an Amazing variety of delicious plates but my favorite which I highly recommend is the ceviche mixto con conchas negras is just the best ceviche you have ever had in your life!!!!!... the yellow rice with seafood also one of my favorites and of course a good variety of beers served the way it should be ....ice cold!!!!. I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone and I give it thumbs up all the way... “Went in with family and was excited to eat here at first. Our first server greeted us but when we needed a little bit more time to look at the menus he never came back to check up on us. We waited and waited and nothing. I was considering on leaving but then another server named Jered asked us if we were ok. He swiftly took our order and a little while later we finally got to eat. Our original server never passed by to apologize or explain his absence. That really bothered me. But thanks to Jered we had a decent breakfast.“

Be prepared to speak some Spanish, or just try! Use your translation app—give it some effort. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even though they probably laughed at me and my order later.

As a bonus, it was someone’s birthday, and I witnessed some seriously native-level guiro technique—by a waitress who seemed to be a new hire. It was a great joy to experience genuine food and culture simultaneously.“

“Thank you to The Breadman for putting together a beautiful & delicious cake filled with FLAN which was to die for. The decorations were purchased in Amazon (that’s why they’re small) but I’m glad that the decorations weren’t too flashy & simple. Other than this cake, I recommend their pastries, unique desserts (such as “Alabao”) & the Nutella cheesecake. Their sandwiches have never disappointed & their croqueta quesadilla is my absolute favorite. Oh & with a batido del guayaba of course!!“

“I took a gamble ordering from a place I never heard of in Miami on Grubhub called Quinoa Connection, and it paid off BIG TIME! 1st of all, I never use Grubhub, but now as an Amazon prime member, I get free delivery. 2nd reason why I don’t order from Grubhub is that I am always so suspect that these restaurants I never heard of are ghosts kitchens making vegan food, who might not care about vegans, and I was wrong to assume that about Quinoa Connection. Not only do they have a location at 134 Hialeah Drive in Hilaleah (which I intend to visit soon), the owner, Donald, called and texted to verify my order, my allergies and to confirm my satisfaction as well, (plus he gave me a little extra treat too). I order the “Pecandillo” which is essentially a Picadillo made with pecans instead of meat, tomatoes, onions, peppers, garlic, olives, raisins, and spices, served on top of quinoa and I added black beans for an extra charge. The portion was very satisfying and the taste and flavors were incredible. As a surprise for a dessert, I was given an house made dessert empanada aka The Nada Empanada tm Key Lime, A Frozen Date, Almond, Orange Zest Pocket, filled with Key Lime Pie filling: lime juice, avocado, raw organic agave, coconut cream, vanilla, sea salt, and it was out of the world delicious! Literally the best variation of an ice cream sandwich I have ever had. 10 of out 10 for me on this one! The price was right, the portions were perfect, the owner was courteous and super kind, and the food was delicious and nutritious!“

“I just ordered a pizza, and the oven is off, the girl went inside with the raw pizza and brought it back cooked, I don't know if she made it in a microwave or on a stove, I don't know when I saw it it made me want to vote for it in front of her, what happens was not for me.“

I ordered a rib soup because I've been sick and it was honestly one of the best soups I've ever had. Definitely the best soup from a restaurant and I am not a soup person. I lso ordered mangu con 4 golpes because I can't see it on a menu and not order it. When I say this is the creaminess mangu I've ever had I'm not even joking. Apologies to every dominican family member that's ever cooked for me and to myself. I have never had mangu this creamy. The onions were onioning. Even the salami and salchichon were good no gross hard bits or weird after taste. I got my husband the chicken milanesa with moros. He hates chicken but it was milanesa so I thought I'd give it a try. This man ate the whole thing. I am so impressed and so glad I found it. I just wish I had found it sooner. I can't speak to the actual service or atmosphere since we haven't bene there yet but I can't wait to go now. I will say I ordered it delivered to Aventura and when I got it everything was still warm fresh and delicious.“

“El Sartén Restaurant and Lounge is a hidden gem in Miami! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm atmosphere and the great energy of the place. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Every dish felt authentic and made with care.

“The stars are arbitrary; the important thing here is that this is a Cici's Pizza that still is ongoing in a post-covid world. It's exactly the same quality as always, exactly the same price. I had my buffet with a drink only about $13 for the all you can eat. The particular establishment itself was nicely maintained, fresh pizzas and breads routinely swapped in, nice classic rock/modern pop playlist going.“

She has been loyal to this place since I could remember and its because its a family owned company that treats their staff like family and always treat them like no other boss ever could. I continued to buy my food for my employees group meetings food from them when I was working for the city of Hialeah's city hall, I started in the Fire Department, and over time was promoted to Director of Information Technology with a staff of about 18 people. The Mesa family always treated use like part of their family!“

“I do not care for Mexican tamales, so I was hesitant, but the #1 Cuban tamale with chicarrón and avocado and lime was one of the best things I have ever eaten. We also LOVED the corn and pork soup! Such flavor! The name of this place is not a lie.
