“Every time I have De Lo Mío, I feel like I am back home in the DR. They are a food truck located in Hialeah. Their service is incredible. They even know me by name when I call to order. They are over 30 minutes away from me, but I never hesitate to go when I'm craving some real Dominican street food. Their Picadera con proteínas is my go-to. They have different options for the protein and the sides for you to choose from. I always do Tostones with pechurinas (fried chicken), longaniza, carne de res, or cerdo frita. My mom loves their orejitas. When I'm craving a chimi, they are my go-to. They also have a special for chimis on Wednesday. I love their empanadas; they have an authentic Dominican flavor. Their empanada de pollo or pizza are my two favorites. Their Yaroas are excellent and very loaded. Their Rebulu fries are the perfect Dominican-style loaded fries. My family also enjoys their kipes. I can go on forever on what to try from them, but all I can say is that if you are looking for good flavor, quality, and feel of Dominican style food De Lo Mio is the place to go.“

I moved to Hialeah in 2016 and it took me a few months to find Ranch House, but since then, I've come reliably at least a few times a month. It's one of those places that has an extensive menu where you could, in theory, order shrimp scampi and eggs benedict for the same meal, but you'll probably just end up picking your usual favorites.I often work holidays and another beautiful facet of Ranch House is that they'll usually have tasty specials near Thanksgiving, Christmas, St. Pat's, etc. I won't cook a whole turkey for myself, so I get my fix here.So thank you Ranch House for years of the classic American diner experience.“
