“We made a reservation for our Anniversary (24-02-18) after looking at some online reviews in the area we were staying in Miami. SO happy we chose here to celebrate our anniversary! The atmosphere was very inviting, busy yet flowing with a full dining room. Our waiter Andreu was very welcoming asking us if we were there for a special occasion. With our anniversary he provided us each with a glass of champagne! He explained the dinner specials and even brought us a taste of one of the appetizers called Fiocchi Rapers – filled pasta with cheese and pear, with crispy prosciutto and creamy truffle sauce. So delicious! We decided on 2 entrees, the Lasagna Bolognese, and the Crab Ravioli. Absolutely, hands down, some of the best pasta dishes we’ve ever eaten!“

“This restaurant was walking distance from our hotel and had decent reviews, so we decided to try it, plus there weren't too many options after 7 pm in the area.We had a great server, which suggested perfect drinks, appetizers, and mains.It's too bad they were closing at 10 pm, we would have stayed longer.The restaurant is next to the marina and bottom level to an office building, so I'm sure the bulk of the business is during the daytime and weekends. But, overall, we enjoyed everything which was offered.We loved the food and drinks. But don't bother with the oysters. They were small.The atmosphere felt like you were in the tropics while sitting in a tiki hut.“

The icing on the cake was upon leaving when Abbey gave us handmade origami hearts with encouraging words inside. She didn’t know it, but we sure needed those sweet words! The cocktails were solid and varied enough that there was something for everyone. The mushroom in brown butter sauce and the lobster Alfredo are both stand out dishes not to be missed. If anyone likes fruity martini’s with an extra punch, I’d strongly advise you to try their luxury paradise martini. Their ox tail tacos are small but were my favorite. The short braised ribs were amazing but the wagyu steak wasn’t the best. Our server Giosel was always there for great recommendations and great service. I would definitely enjoy coming back for a drink or two.“

Our server took the time to explain recommendations and confirm any cheese preferences since we ordered a cheeseboard and a salad with cheese. Unfortunately, I had an accident and had to leave because I couldn’t even keep water down. I was mortified. But they made me feel human and invited me to come back when I feel better. My wife’s best friend recommended this place and we are so happy we listened to her. The mofongo was great and the grilled chicken was flavorful and juicy. My wife and I found our “go to” place when we are in the northern part of Miami. Besides the food, the service and atmosphere was great. We went on a Wednesday @ 9pm and they had live music.“

Finally, taking the time to write a long-time-coming review because they went above and beyond expectations, even beyond their usual excellent service. We were planning on hosting a wedding welcome cocktail outdoor at the brewery. The weather turned for the worse and Nick and Kelly quickly arranged for us to use Threefold Cafe instead. We were able to have a beautiful, intimate, private event at the cafe. The bride and groom could not have been happier and the out-of-town guests had an amazing time. The beer and wine selection was perfect. Food was delicious. Staff was attentive and warm. I could not recommend them more 10/10.“

I have heard for years that Happy's is a fun, casual, old school kind of bar that everyone has been to at least once. It is a neighborhood kind of bar where most of the patrons know each other. It has been around for years.It actually looks comfortable and welcoming inside. I took a few pics. They serve wine, beer, and cocktails. You can also get bar food like a Philly cheesecake that tastes really good. The menu is limited but has enough popular meals to make everyone happy!There is free parking in a large attached lot. They have outdoor dining on the patio. Smoking is allowed outside on the patio. There are other businesses around it. We plan to come back and have a Happy's experience.“
