I could have just ordered the meal, but saw that if I order one gyro I could get another one for only $.40! Done! I added French fries and a drink and it was only a bit more than the meal. “If I could give Luca Osteria 10 stars I would!! I first found this place from a food blogger on instagram and I am so glad I did. First thing you must make a reservation before going because there is limited seating and this place is always full. We didn't have a reservation and the hostess was so helpful to get us a spot at the bar. The manager saw that we felt very crowded at the bar so they were able to give us a table for two. Even though it's a little smaller inside, the restaurant is so beautiful and classy. We had the perfect date night. We started with a couple appetizers the patate frite and the Local Stracciattella. The patate frite was so perfectly crispy and creamy with the sharp flavor of the truffle. The creamy Stracciattella with the crispy bread was the best combo. For our entree we ordered the short rib bolognese with fresh pappardelle pasta. Now I don't usually order the bolognese, it's usually just basic flavors but I truly enjoyed this one thanks to the short ribs. My husband ordered a pasta with bucatini pasta that was delicious too. We were so full from this lovely meal but we had to try a dessert. We were recommended to ordered the Pistachio Semifreddo, it was very different. It was sweet and salty and the chocolate ganache was so perfect. One thing I really appreciated from this restaurant was the employees they were so attentive and after every single meal they cleaned and wiped down our table. I have never seen that before at any restaurant even the fanciest expensive places don't even do that for you. We can't wait to go back and try new items on the menu. For our mains she ordered a cuban sandwich which was made with jackfruit (sangwich?) and I chose the piccadillo bowl. I have to be honest-I was here on faith!. All of our food arrived quickly-we utilized the qr codes on the outdoor table. I expected the "ham" croqueta to outshine the chickpea one-nope! I loved the chickpea one. The cafe con "leche" was nice and smooth. I tried her cuban sandwich and it was good-not my thing, tasty, just not for me. The cilantro sauce was DELICIOUS!! We dipped the yucaitas, the sandwich, our fingers...so good. The star of the day though was the picadillo bowl. WOW!!! I opted for a bed of rice also with the cilantro sauce. Given the side options I chose sweet plantains-of course!!! Bestie and I were in vegan food heaven. Everything was hot, fresh and tasty. “Checked this place out for their Sunday brunch with a couple of my friends who were after their oyster deal they had heard about. They enjoyed their oysters and practically ordered all the ones the restaurant had, so if you go on in looking for the same deal i would suggest getting there on the earlier side of the Sunday brunch. They offer bottomless mimosas, Bloody Mary's, Bellinis, or monopolio (draft beer) for $25, they do not let you mix and match unless someone at your table also orders something different. Then you can mix with whatever they ordered. The place is really cute, with plenty of outdoor seating and a cute bar. We were sat at a high top by the bar, but the stools were dirty with what felt like kitchen grease so we asked to be moved to a regular table, and we were accommodated quickly. Our waiter was sweet and did his best given it was his first day. I ordered the Lomo Saltado with an egg (as it comes) it was delicious, loved the sauce. I was surprised with the size of the dish. Very generous portions.“

“I must admit I was not too thrilled about the drive to Miami from palm beach county. The drive was absolutely worth it! I lived in NYC for 30 years, and my friends growing up are Greek. I have been lucky enough to enjoy home cooking from my buddies mother's. I was transported back to my youth eating some of the most delicious creations that came from that great country. My friend had the limo trifongo and a Bloody Mary which she enjoyed. Definitely a must try if you are in South Florida!
