“WOW i’m not sure where to begin… what a flavor explosion! Thank you Chef Erika & your entire team for such an amazing experience every time we visit. Hands down the best sushi & nigiri I have ever had in my life, affordable for the BEST quality! I can’t even choose a favorite sushi roll because I love them all so much. Seriously, I want to taste the entire menu… Some really creative combinations that I have never seen anywhere else. I wish I could gatekeep this treasure because it’s always busy, but the wait is quick. I actually recommend this place to everyone I know & always bring friends in town visiting. They all say that it’s the best sushi rolls they have ever had!
One time I was walking through a park and overheard a kid begging her mom for Sushi Erika… I get it. Endless thanks to the whole staff, I know this will be a neighborhood staple for many years to come.“

“Sushi Siam is an absolute hidden gem. Their menu is extensive, featuring a mix of Thai and Japanese dishes, so there’s something for everyone.

The sushi is fresh, beautifully presented, and expertly prepared — it’s as much a treat for the eyes as it is for your taste buds. Beyond sushi, they also serve fantastic Pad Thai and Tom Kha Kai soup that are definitely worth trying.

What’s unique about this spot is that it’s almost always empty, likely because most of their business is takeout. But I actually loved the solitude — it feels like a private dining experience.

The building itself is definitely dated, giving off some serious Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom vibes (you’ll get the reference once you go). But honestly, that throwback vintage sushi restaurant vibe adds to its charm and makes the experience feel special.

“Luca offered an explosion of flavors. The restaurant is small with outside seating. During the afternoon, the weather is enjoyable. They have outdoor fans. Located in the beautiful Giralda Ave. Coral Gables. The menu is varied and exquisite. For antipasti, we had pattate fritte, tuna caprese, and Stracciatella with black truffle honey. For our main course we had cacio e Pepe and short rib bolognese. Our desert was panna cotta. They also offer a wonderful menu of cocktails. We had 3 different Italian spritzes. My favorite was the Hugo. Everything was 5/5. Worthy trying, make reservations ahead of time!“

“My two sisters and I went in on a Thursday at 6:15 with no reservations. We were warmly welcomed at the host stand and told they could seat us at the bar. We asked the host who seated us what his favorite dishes are and he recommended the creamy polenta appetizer and the pork chop. We were then greeted at the bar by Maria who was friendly and extremely helpful. She recommended a few wines and dishes and we settled on the polenta appetizer, a salad to share then we shared the spaghetti pomodoro, the mushroom pasta and the pork chop. Everything was truly delicious and we would definitely return.“

“I had heard about this hot restaurant from New York that I must try, but was reticent to do so because Carbone was the name of a character from Goodfellas that Robert Deniro's Jimmy Conway whacked when tying up loose ends after the Lufthansa job! Poor sap was hanging frozen in a meat locker. I'm glad I put that imagery aside because this place was amazing! Platitudes like wonderful ambience, fine service, flavorful food, great family style dining, are all applicable but just don't capture the full spirit of the evening. From the pickled cauliflower, to the signature spicy rigatoni ala vodka (which pairs nicely with their pinot noir offering Presqu'ile), to the Caesar salad (you must have those croutons!), and their delicious Italian petit-fours, everything burst with flavor and was resplendent of the authenticity of old Venice. And since you will be spending more than a few pennies here, one must luxuriate in the mid century environs replete with Murano glass chandeliers while being serenaded with a sound track of Italian crooners like Mel Torme and Frank Sinatra in the full bela canta tradition. “We sat outside for supper, it was a beautiful evening in Miami! We shared the Aristotele salad and the Capricciosa pizza, SO DELICIOUS. Our server was Chantale, she was helpful, knowledgeable and had a good personality. We may come back for lunch tomorrow before we sail away!“

“This club made me feel so safe the bouncers do an amazing job. One of the bouncers even wear as far as to walk me to where my Uber was because it was late at night and people were being creepy. The atmosphere here is amazing and I had so much fun I ended up going back again. They are the only place that let me store my bag for not an outrageous price. Drinks are expensive but that's to be expected of Miami“
