“WOW i’m not sure where to begin… what a flavor explosion! Thank you Chef Erika & your entire team for such an amazing experience every time we visit. Hands down the best sushi & nigiri I have ever had in my life, affordable for the BEST quality! I can’t even choose a favorite sushi roll because I love them all so much. Seriously, I want to taste the entire menu… Some really creative combinations that I have never seen anywhere else. I wish I could gatekeep this treasure because it’s always busy, but the wait is quick. I actually recommend this place to everyone I know & always bring friends in town visiting. They all say that it’s the best sushi rolls they have ever had!

“Sushi Siam is an absolute hidden gem. Their menu is extensive, featuring a mix of Thai and Japanese dishes, so there’s something for everyone.

The sushi is fresh, beautifully presented, and expertly prepared — it’s as much a treat for the eyes as it is for your taste buds. Beyond sushi, they also serve fantastic Pad Thai and Tom Kha Kai soup that are definitely worth trying.

What’s unique about this spot is that it’s almost always empty, likely because most of their business is takeout. But I actually loved the solitude — it feels like a private dining experience.

The building itself is definitely dated, giving off some serious Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom vibes (you’ll get the reference once you go). But honestly, that throwback vintage sushi restaurant vibe adds to its charm and makes the experience feel special.

“I cannot believe I had one of the best sushi in a food hall at the Miami Design District. The fish melts in your mouth and it combined so well with the sauces. I usually always order spicy mayo on the side, but it was not needed for this roll. We liked it so much that we had to buy it again. Not because we were hungry but it was just that delicious. I also tried the Wagyu hand roll and it was fantastic as well. I also loved the service and cleanliness from the place. I will definitely return to here to have this special roll again.“

The food was absolutely amazing, but my only problem is that there was only one person for all the place, it took so long to bring each and Handroll .
With that I will add that for people who don’t eat shellfish you can’t change the “experience” option on the menu which was unfortunate because we were 3 people and 2 of us don’t eat shellfish and we wanted all to take the same so we could eat at the same time .

She stated it was an ice cream base with chocolate and almonds on top with a chocolate crust. However when we got the dessert it was not an ice cream base but chocolate mousse. “Although my wife and I have not yet had the chance to experience Sushi by Scratch, I felt compelled to leave a review because of the exceptional professionalism and kindness shown by their staff. I made a reservation for my wife and myself as a Christmas gift, something I was genuinely looking forward to. Unfortunately, due to my military lifestyle and unexpected deployment-related schedule changes, I had to move the reservation twice and ultimately cancel until I can lock in a more stable schedule.

Throughout the entire process, the team was incredibly polite, understanding, and professional. The Suviche Lager was a great starting beer and paired really well with the Ceviche. We ordered the HH Ceviche and it was a perfect portion for the two of us. The fried fish bites were airy and light, not greasy or overly breaded. We split the Saltado with the Tenderloin - it was the star of the show. Perfectly medium rare and soooo tender.
