Always busy, but so is the service. A review solely for picky kids, my nephews loved it. They shared the tempura shrimp appetizer, had Miso soup, split chicken noodles (picking out the veggies) and who doesn't love the fried ice cream for dessert.
SO GOOD! Start with the service, the staff is so kind, polite, and attentive. We had to wait 3 minutes and they apologized for the "wait", and to seat us they kindly asked a couple who just got seated at a 4 seat table to move them to a 2 seat so we can be seated. The sake options were amazing, HIGHLY recommend the sake flight. The Sapporo beer was good too, came with a cold cup. The gyoza and beef negimaki were DELICIOUS. Great experience! We ate outside and loved the setting. The eel roll was amazing, and the Kendall roll was almost as good. I only wish they had dessert that wasn’t deep fried — all 4 options were tempura. We chose the tempura brownie with ice cream, and it was BIG. Super good, though it did leave a bit of an oily aftertaste. Our server Sierra was wonderful; she was super attentive and kind. Definitely recommend.
