“Dined last night for our anniversary and it was fantastic. We'd been once before with a friend and had to try the lasagna again. It did not disappoint and is one of the best I have ever tasted. So happy to have a fantastic Italian Restaurant in North Bay Village. 5-stars. Great staff by the way and the owner is on his game with funny jokes and a wonderful attitude.”

“Small and cozy Japanese food where you should go for what’s not offered elsewhere. I recommend you pick what you’ve never tried in other places. Otherwise why go in the first place?! Erika delights you with her own creations. I’ll start with dessert! Lychee ice cream or sorbet, not sure of the category but it was simply a real surprise- Order it! The Lexi sandwich, a must! Mary roll, yummy garlic crumbles on it. The 100 Roll, another must. The squid squeezers, only here & yes please! The seaweed salad, because you gotta get your greens and hers is great! A couple of items did not get photographed because the excitement took over. It’s a small place and popular so there is a long wait. It’s worth it. The service is friendly and Erika is the cutest young lady working hard behind the sushi counter. She’s only open for lunch and doors close at 5:45pm. Good for her that she’s made her own work terms! I’d be there more frequently if I lived closer so it’s a treat and a trip to go but oh so worth it!”

“Was in Miami for a bachelorette and the first night we tried to come in, the place was PACKED and the wait was so long we decided to go elsewhere. We were told to come here by multiple people so we tried the next night to get in and luckily we were able to come in. We were helped by Mike and he was great!!! “OMG! My gf and I live right down the street the last two years and we have always passed by saying we are going to come in and never do. Today talking with a coworker about our foodie adventures, he mentioned going to La Birria in Wynwood and I just knew it was a sign. So we rushed home from work and came straight here. Boy were we not disappointed!

Being our first time, Lisandro was so patient in guiding us through what seemed like an endless number of burger options. Good cuz I like choices! It’s a counter style restaurant and Lisandro, with the handy menu board WITH PICTURES, helped us decide on the award winning Golden Burger and my love got the Big Jack with a vegan patty! We both added egg which took these burgers over the top for us! The buns were the softest I feel I’ve had in a long time. The burger meat was super fresh and well-seasoned. We topped it off with some fries (if I might add, the burger is great alone) which were crispy and tasty and two cold beers. We packed it up, because it was so big and good we wanted to savor some for later, in these cute boxes shown in my picture.

Needless to say, we’ve been missing out! We will be back soon and make sure you ask for Lisandro! He’ll get you right!”

“Boia De is very special. Bold flavor with a delicate execution. The staff are humbly proud of their accomplishments and the Michelin Star is well deserved. The smoked muscles were delicious you need them. Steak tar-tar you must have. The gnocchi will change your life and the lamb could alter they ways of man & possibly change the world. No liquor needed here. Creative mixology with sake & Pilsner will make you happy. Desert a must… buy 2. Or 3.. Love from Mary & Peter”

“This place is delicious! Even though it’s kind of in the middle of nowhere in a random
plaza, it’s a great spot for dinner. The inside is nicely curated, and the menu offerings are good as well. Very unique food experience, and definitely a tasty one. I will say though, even though the “lasagna” is no where near the look or taste of a traditional lasagna, it is very good and I recommend you try it if they have it on special.

I’m happy I found this place! Try to get a reservation if you can because it is a bit small.

Vegetarian options: Our party had 2 vegetarians and they were able to eat most of what we ordered!

“Really lovely rustic Italian menu. We had the tasting menu for two with one wine pairing. Everything was excellent: simple, bright, flavorful. It comes with a *wild* amount of food and you get to try 8 dishes in what they call four courses. Definitely a good deal for the price. Waiter was very knowledgeable and the service was great - really noticed the small stuff that most wait staff don't seem to be trained in anymore. A pleasure to eat here.”

“Excellent food, great service, fantastic cocktails, party atmosphere. And some innovative dishes. I particularly compliment the spicy squid that came with the kimchi, as well as the ground hamachi on hot crispy rice. I also had the baby back ribs, excellent but could have been a little spicier if we're thinking Korean inspired here. Also great spicy eggs served with the kimchi. I'm thinking they can expand their kimchi appetizer and make it into a main dish or for the table. Overall, a great meal and experience. Special thanks for the Spicy Fried Chicken serving that came complementary. Not sure why, but it was great.”

“One of our favorite Italian restaurants in the Gables! The service was amazing, each person was very friendly and offered their recommendations. The food was mouth watering! Each time we go, we try new dishes because each one is incredible. We got the foccacia, baby tomato panzanella, tuna caprese, pasta alla nina, and the special of the night, truffle pasta. “A little slice of Havana on the corner of the street. The food was phenomenal and our waitress, Joseline, made fantastic recommendations to try the ceviche as the appetizer! My husband had the baked chicken with rice and beans and I had the ropa vieja with white rice and platano maduros. 10/10 highly recommend! Will definitely come again!”
