No hype, no theatrics, just pure craft, flow, and serious respect for the product. The quality of the fish, the precision, the calm rhythm of the place. Everything felt intentional.

“Sushi Siam is an absolute hidden gem. Their menu is extensive, featuring a mix of Thai and Japanese dishes, so there’s something for everyone.

The sushi is fresh, beautifully presented, and expertly prepared — it’s as much a treat for the eyes as it is for your taste buds. Beyond sushi, they also serve fantastic Pad Thai and Tom Kha Kai soup that are definitely worth trying.

What’s unique about this spot is that it’s almost always empty, likely because most of their business is takeout. But I actually loved the solitude — it feels like a private dining experience.

The building itself is definitely dated, giving off some serious Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom vibes (you’ll get the reference once you go). But honestly, that throwback vintage sushi restaurant vibe adds to its charm and makes the experience feel special.

Luisa greeted me warmly and went above and beyond by helping me carry the large order to my car, making the pickup process smooth and stress-free. The chef made the whole dinner so fun and interactive—definitely more than just a meal, it's an experience. The food was fresh and flavorful. The steak was cooked perfectly, the fried rice was delicious, and everything came out hot and well-seasoned. Drinks were also really good and well presented. The only thing I would note is that depending on how busy it is, there can be a bit of a wait before the chef starts, but once everything gets going, it's 100% worth it. “I had a fantastic experience last night! The service is top tier--Marco and the rest of the staff are kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. I had the best beef carpaccio ever--try it, they put a unique spin on the traditional dish--followed by the baby artichoke hearts and accompanied by an amazing Swiss Pinot Noir from Lucas Madonia. One of the best dinners I've had in a while and I'm frequently out. Highly recommend this quirky and cool restaurant!”

Really, just step into this bar and you’ll be amazed. It’s gorgeous. Danilo in particular was excellent, and you can tell he loves this place and its patrons.

“I cannot believe I had one of the best sushi in a food hall at the Miami Design District. The fish melts in your mouth and it combined so well with the sauces. I usually always order spicy mayo on the side, but it was not needed for this roll. We liked it so much that we had to buy it again. Not because we were hungry but it was just that delicious. I also tried the Wagyu hand roll and it was fantastic as well. I also loved the service and cleanliness from the place. I will definitely return to here to have this special roll again.”

“My two sisters and I went in on a Thursday at 6:15 with no reservations. We were warmly welcomed at the host stand and told they could seat us at the bar. We asked the host who seated us what his favorite dishes are and he recommended the creamy polenta appetizer and the pork chop. We were then greeted at the bar by Maria who was friendly and extremely helpful. She recommended a few wines and dishes and we settled on the polenta appetizer, a salad to share then we shared the spaghetti pomodoro, the mushroom pasta and the pork chop. Everything was truly delicious and we would definitely return.”
