“We were greeted warmly and given a nice table outside with a good view of the Bay (through the marina boats). Service started off very nicely too and was quite courteous. Though, as the evening continued that service became something of a revolving door with several other servers who were not always consistent (e.g., twice we requested something only to not have that server fulfill the request and we had to ask another server to do so). We began the evening with an appetizer order of octopus and it was terrific.When it came time to order entrees my wife ordered Fritto Misto. She had never ordered that before but the menu's description simply described a dish with seafoods, veggies and a homemade sauce. What it failed to mention is that it all comes breaded and deep fried...something my wife never eats. Now, should she have asked more about the dish? Possibly Or, could the menu simply state that it is breaded and deep fried eliminating any chance of confusion. I'd err on the side of the latter. But, my wife now knows to never order Fritto Misto again anywhere. To their credit, Petralunga wrote the dish off of our bill and my wife ordered the Tuna Tagliata which she loved. I had the chicken milanese. It was dry...but that may have, in part, happened while I waited a bit for her to receive her new entree. I ended the evening by ordering a single scoop of chocolate gelato. Oddly, time went by and none was brought to the table. Another server seemed to notice we were still sitting there well after our table had been cleared. She then headed to the kitchen. At that point, the gelato was brought to our table by another server though already starting to melt suggesting it had been sitting a bit before being brought out. In any case, we still had a pleasant evening with a nice view and we would go back to give Petralunga a second chance as it clearly is a very capable restaurant that just seemed to come up a bit short menu and service wise the night we visited.”
