We also thoroughly enjoyed the Laura salad. Portions were huge, and we have dinner for tomorrow. Try the spicey olive oil on your pizza. The staff is the BEST! First class operation indeed. “Admittedly I did not dine in as I was staying at a hotel around the corner, but I did hear that their table service is very good. I ordered the Thai Fried Rice with Chicken - it was well prepared and very balanced in flavor. Not overly spiced, it was delicious. The right amount of Chicken and vegetables for a solid take out meal. The restaurant was busy but didn't feel overwhelming - a small spot with tables outside as well. Would definitely recommend for someone seeking familiar dishes prepared with care and thought.”

Came to Double Luck to celebrate my 40th birthday and it did not disappoint. Brandon gave us incredible service from start to finish. Attentive without hovering, great recommendations, and he made the night feel special. Thank you, Brandon!

We started with a few starters and every single one hit. The spicy noodles had the perfect kick with that garlic-chili depth I crave. The short rib was fall-apart tender, rich, and glazed beautifully. The duck was the star for me. Crispy skin, juicy meat, and the balance of savory and sweet was on point.

For dessert we did the rice pudding and the cake, and both were the perfect way to wrap up a celebration dinner. Comforting, not too sweet, and just indulgent enough.

Vibe was lively but still great for conversation. Portions were generous and the flavors were bold without being overwhelming.

Double Luck made turning 40 feel lucky indeed. We’ll be back.

“Truly remarkable. We enjoyed the 9-course tasting menu with the wine pairing and waygu enhancement, putting dinner at $375pp including tax and tip. Worth every penny. Our primary server, Gabriela, was fantastic although several other staff members delivered our dishes, including both managers and a member of the chef’s team. I enjoyed the variance as it allows one to meet several members of the staff. Of the nine wines there was one I didn’t care for so, when asked how I liked it and said, “not so much” it was immediately replaced with a choice between two fine wines. It’s in these moments you understand the staff are true professionals providing the best dining experience possible. Gabriela, or Gaby as she prefers to be called, is a true professional The only marks against is the dress code. One gentleman at the bar was in a T-shirt and a baseball cap. Later two gentleman sat at a high top near the door, both in baseball caps. Also, the bartender was wearing a tank-top with the back cutout, something one would expect at a beach bar. The stark contrast between she and the very smartly dressed manager, Jonathan Smith, in a suit and tie, was noticeable. I’m old school dining with my 94 year old father who is really old school so my critique of attire when we’re only here for dinner may seem displaced. My apologies. For anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience in Miami Beach I highly recommend Stubborn Seed. You will leave full and an experience you’ll remember forever”

“Affordable, delicious omakase with very fresh fish and great value for the quality. We also added the Japanese uni, which was creamy, sweet, and definitely worth trying. Just keep in mind that this is a casual counter-service spot rather than a traditional seated omakase experience—there is no full table service or chef-led course-by-course presentation. It’s a perfect place to stop for fresh, high-quality sushi after walking around and shopping nearby.”
