“I’ve ordered from Cake by CM twice now, and both experiences have been absolutely amazing. Their brigadeiros are exquisite, and their cakes are honestly some of the best we’ve ever had.

The chocolate cake with white cream, chocolate cream, and strawberries is outstanding—rich, perfectly balanced, and incredibly fresh. On our second order, we asked for that same combination but with carrot cake instead, and it turned out unbelievably good.

Carla, the owner, was incredibly kind and friendly, and on our second visit, her husband helped us—he was just as welcoming and attentive. They truly make the whole experience feel special from start to finish.

Everything here is delicious, and it’s definitely worth trying every dessert they offer. Highly recommended—thank you so much!”

“I honestly don’t even know where to start. The food was incredible, so I’m not even going to spend time talking about that because everyone already knows it’s Michelin level. What really blew me away was the experience. My wife and I felt like we were the only people in the restaurant. Everyone knew our names, took their time with us, answered every question, and never made us feel rushed. I asked the chef what kind of knives he uses, and instead of just telling me, he took me into his office and showed me his collection. The staff kept bringing over things they were working on and saying, “Isaac, try this and tell us what you think.” It almost felt like we were family or part of the restaurant, not just customers. I’ve eaten at a lot of high end kosher restaurants, but I’ve never experienced hospitality like this. They made us feel like we were the most important people there. The food is amazing, but it’s the way they make you feel that makes this place so special. My wife and I left talking about the experience the whole ride home, and we can’t wait to come back.”

Partner and i ordered over the phone. (1) General Tso’s combination dinner and a (1) boneless rib dinner. Each came with the entree, fried rice, 2 wontons, and 1 egg roll. 12.95 each. I thought the portions were very worth the price and love that they include wontons. You don’t find that too many places! Ready in about ten minutes. Building stands alone in between a subway and a dead plaza. Basically, Location isn’t the greatest but it’s all takeout— as there’s no where to sit anyway. Prepare to take your food to go. Regardless, i enjoyed the quality and portion. Some of the best fried rice I’ve had in a while.”

“I ordered the lo mein with pork fried rice and both we’re excellent. The lo mein had several vegetables including water chestnuts. The fried rice was fresh and had just be right amount of seasoning. I ordered a can of soda and they put it in a bag, rolled it up and secured it with tape to keep it cold. Who does that!!!! That attention to detail is rarely seen and really appreciated. I’m going back tomorrow. They have specials that are very reasonable and it’s very good value.”

It promises fresh, delicious bites at the window and somehow restores my faith in humanity one Crunchwrap at a time (shoutout to whoever was working the late night drive- thru last night- you deserve a raise).

My only heartbreak is that the Quesorito was taken from us too soon… but that tragedy is corporate, not local. I do not blame you.

“I've been going to super subs for 20 plus years. The subs are great and they have a good selection to choose from.They always make the sub exactly how you ask and they don't skip on the veggies. The tuna sub is made with white meat and is incredible. Top it with the s"hot sauce. It's a spicy relish, and not really hot, but gives it a great zesty Zing. The American cold cut sub is a bargain and tasty too. I highly recommend super subs. I would suggest you call first to make sure they're open. A lot of their business us tied with the high School across the street. If the school's closed they sometimes close too.”

I had the Mixed Veggies, which is a kind of stew made with meat bones. My husband had the fried chicken. Both come with plantains and rice. “Paradis is one of the best new spots in North Miami. The highlights are the books and bread or vice a versa. The coffee and lemonade is ideal for a mid week lunch break on the run or just a relaxed weekend moment. I should add that previous comments about Paradis being racist are fibs. Also, the place isn't intolerant towards anyone. The proof is in the pudding... just try the place out. I suggest the fresh bread and pizza!!!”

I've been to Klandestino Lounge a couple of times, and each time has been amazingly fun and at the same time chill. I love that they have live music on the weekends, and that they specialize in Latin/Argentinian rock. It is a small space so it is highly recommended you make a reservation in advance. Note: $15 at the door per person goes to pay the musicians, let's not be stingy and support small businesses as much as possible!! I hope Klandestino Lounge is here to stay for many years!! Very hard to find a cool, chic and intimate bar like that!!”
