Needless to say, the service is unmatched here from the moment you walk in. Started with a white wine, these are the dishes I opted for...summer salad, scallop crudo, koshihikari rice, black grouper and parfait. Need I say, everything single dish was a 10/10. Summer salad was perfectly balanced between the plums, nectarines and avocado and a little spice from the agua diablo. An explosion of flavors in every bite. The scallop crudo was like nothing I've ever tasted...perfectly cooked scallop with a little kick. The grouper was the star of the show...just perfection. The rice was a pleasant surprise of flavors that took shocked my palate a little but in the best way. Ended the meal with a very delicious rich parfait that wasn't overly sweet. I see why they're Michelin starred and it didn't disappoint, NOT ONE BIT. Space is underwhelming though. Not really romantic or cozy or aesthetically pleasing and very small but the food was without a doubt...PHENOMENAL, and that's all that really matters at the end.“

“We visited Sushi Sake, and overall, it was a decent experience. The sushi was really good and definitely the highlight of the meal! However, the hibachi dinner was just okay, nothing special. I would definitely recommend the sushi over the hibachi dishes. The service was good, and the staff was attentive. One thing to be aware of is that they automatically add an 18% gratuity to your bill. They also offer happy hour, which I believe runs from 3 PM to 6 PM, but I’m not 100% sure of the hours. Overall, I would return for the sushi, but probably skip the hibachi next time.“

From a soup that is sweet, sour, savory, spicey, with umami, to the untouched but perfectly cut ootoro that melts in your mouth, to a caviar palette cleanser, and A5 wagyu that you'll need seconds on, and a concluding desert that's impossible to forget. The hospitality as well is beyond reproach. MILA Omakase is as much a meal as it is a an experience, and a show. The chefs were engaging, the sommelier knowledge and thoughtful, and the manager helpful at every turn. We had a fantastic time at MILA, and can't wait to go back next time I'm in Miami. And then, there's the atmosphere, a massive cheer blossom tree that frames the sushi and chef bar, with beautiful indirect lighting through lit marble, with hand crafted ceramic dishes, paired with gold inlay everywhere. This private room, that is invite only with reservation, is what I imagine the inside of a luxurious genie lamp would be, from someone who had spent significant amounts of time in the palaces in Tokyo alongside Abu Dhabi. Glorious, beautiful, inspiring, but welcoming, and a stage set to awe and delight. They will have my patronage again. Bonus points: My girlfriend left her purse at the restaurant that we didn't discover until the next morning. After a quick text exchange, the Manager orchestrated the return of her purse before our flight that afternoon, even though the restaurant wasn't scheduled to open for another 8 hours. For that, this place will always have my allegiance. Kind, considerate, with the intention to invite exploration, celebrate discovery, and take care of you.“
