“I've eaten at a lot Omakase's around the world, and MILA has crafted a spectacular and incredibly memorable one. From the the surprise and delight of the variety of dishes, to the bold and energetic flavors that will dance across your pallet, to the perfectly prepared nigiri, it's is truely difficult not to have a mind boggling time from the moment you sit down to the ear-to-ear grins you wear on the way out the door. From a soup that is sweet, sour, savory, spicey, with umami, to the untouched but perfectly cut ootoro that melts in your mouth, to a caviar palette cleanser, and A5 wagyu that you'll need seconds on, and a concluding desert that's impossible to forget. The hospitality as well is beyond reproach. MILA Omakase is as much a meal as it is a an experience, and a show. The chefs were engaging, the sommelier knowledge and thoughtful, and the manager helpful at every turn. We had a fantastic time at MILA, and can't wait to go back next time I'm in Miami. And then, there's the atmosphere, a massive cheer blossom tree that frames the sushi and chef bar, with beautiful indirect lighting through lit marble, with hand crafted ceramic dishes, paired with gold inlay everywhere. This private room, that is invite only with reservation, is what I imagine the inside of a luxurious genie lamp would be, from someone who had spent significant amounts of time in the palaces in Tokyo alongside Abu Dhabi. Glorious, beautiful, inspiring, but welcoming, and a stage set to awe and delight. They will have my patronage again. Bonus points: My girlfriend left her purse at the restaurant that we didn't discover until the next morning. After a quick text exchange, the Manager orchestrated the return of her purse before our flight that afternoon, even though the restaurant wasn't scheduled to open for another 8 hours. For that, this place will always have my allegiance. Kind, considerate, with the intention to invite exploration, celebrate discovery, and take care of you.“

The wrap around porch with seating is perfect for those who want to have a quiet conversation outside. But with so much energy inside I am certain you will love all areas of this new food hall. I was fortunate to attend friends and family and can’t pick what was my favorite… high on the list is the ramen and boba tea but then again sushi was great, dessert waffle was great, chicken sandwich was great… fried rice was great… ok so all of the food we had was great!“

“First time visit for lunch today with friends, and we were all pleasantly surprised with the extremely clean, aesthetic design, and friendly, eager staff. Order at the register and build your bowl with tons of fresh ingredients. The staff even offered to cook my salmon after discovering it was typically served as sushi-grade salmon, raw from the bar. The Asaba Aioli was a nice combo of sweet and spicy, and the freshly brewed fruit teas are truly a treat with a sample-tasting bar set up at the counter. We will be back. #highlyrecommend.“

“I absolutely love this restaurant/hotel. The food is outstanding, especially the breakfast—it reminds me so much of those incredible Israeli buffet breakfasts with an endless variety. “Very surprised by the food quality; worth it to come here just for a meal even if you don't want to karaoke. Expected it to be standard asian fare but actually had a lot more kick and flavor, which is especially impactful for such a succinct menu.

On the karaoke side; there are two rooms nestled just a little behind the counter and dining area. They are very well sound-proofed, couldn't hear anything coming from the room next door until actually stepping outside of our own room. Rented for two hours at about $190 total for our party of 7. No reservations are allowed ahead of time/no calling in, but they accommodated us by pushing our time back when some of our party were late. We were given a big pitcher of water and cups and two mics for duets. The karaoke machine connects natively to YouTube so you can get pretty much any song/genre you have in mind. The room could accommodate about 10 people comfortably assuming you have two people standing while singing; there's a good sized platform in front of the screen for you to dance and slide across. Staff unobtrusively checked up on us a couple of times to make sure if we needed anything. One of our mics did run out of battery but they were able to swap it out in less than a minute.“
