“I had an amazing meal at Mange Lakay and Lounge, and I can’t recommend this place enough! The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. Every bite tasted like authentic home-cooked Haitian cuisine.

I ordered the Haitian diri blan (white rice) with sos pwa (black bean sauce) and boulet (fried meatballs), and it was absolutely delicious. The rice was perfectly cooked, the black bean sauce was rich and full of flavor, and the boulet were seasoned beautifully with a crispy outside and juicy inside. Everything tasted fresh and comforting — true Haitian flavors done right.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, very clean, and spacious. It’s big enough to host events, which makes it a great spot for gatherings, celebrations, or just enjoying a great meal.

I also want to give a special shoutout to my cashier Gelda. She is always sweet, kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Her great customer service makes the experience even better every time I visit.

If you’re looking for authentic Haitian food, a clean and welcoming atmosphere, and amazing service, Mange Lakay and Lounge is definitely the place to go. I’ll absolutely be back!“

“Amazing speakeasy style bar in Wynwood. Reservations are certainly recommended, or you may not get in. It’s TINY.
DJ spins behind the bar. Music is very eclectic and depends greatly on the DJs style.
Drinks are a little pricy, but not out of line for Miami, and definitely fair for the experience! 🎶

Ismail’s bartending skills and his geniune personality made us feel like we’re spending time at home. Their italian cuisine offers a lot of delicious options such as homemade pasta which we had to the last bite. We also had to chance to meet with bar manager Loida who made sure we had the best time while we were at there. My compliments to them and to the chef!!“

“We stopped in for game 3. When the Lakers was playing great bartender, she was great me and my friend. We stopped in just for a few hours. Had some drinks great atmosphere. We left before the club really got started cuz. It's more of a lounge but it got into the club atmosphere before we left.“

“I came in on Tuesday and my meal was absolutely phenomenal, the kitchen was timely, and the service was absolutely incredible. Abby was extremely knowledgeable, incredibly friendly, my entire family was blown away with her service. She served us twice that day and was incredible. She recommended us the steak and it was perfect, she made sure to strictly adhere to our dietary restriction. I have been in Miami many times and never received such comprehensive service.“

“After getting off my cruise, I had a long layover at Miami International Airport - MIA. I was tired. Dragging. Running on cruise memories and airport coffee. I was searching for the USO but instead I found the Military Hospitality Lounge at Miami International Airport. Babyyyy… when I tell you it felt like walking into a hug. Leather recliners. Big flat screens. Snacks. Blankets. Peace and quiet. But more than that? The warmth. The kindness. The genuine care. And here’s the beautiful part — they are NOT affiliated with the USO. It’s strictly volunteers. Just good people with servant hearts showing up for military members and their families. Funded by donations. Running on compassion. The gentleman who welcomed me was so kind, so attentive. I meant to take pictures, but honestly… I was just soaking it in. Sometimes you don’t document the moment — you just receive it. If you’re active duty, a veteran, or traveling with military family and you find yourself stuck on a layover in Miami, PLEASE go find this lounge. It is a hidden gem and a true blessing. To the volunteers: thank you for loving on us the way you do. You turned a long, exhausting travel day into something beautiful. I will absolutely be back next time I pass through. Kindness like that deserves to be celebrated. 💛“

“Great dinner! Open table suggested I give this restaurant a try......they were right!! Each dish was amazing and came with a performance presentation! My husband had the sea bass and said it was the best he ever had. I had the filet and the pome puree. Bothe were great! The desert was a show we had 6 leches pearl cake it was great! The neighboring tables were fun to watch. Smokey drinks brought in a chest that glowed blue with smoke billowing out snd a seafood tower with sparklers and smoke from dry ice! All the drama! “What detracts from the experience is the disconnect between the vibe of the bar and looking into the food court on the first floor. The cocktails and food were great though.
